The Mooseshroom is an awesome camping community that is just 7 miles from the west side of Glacier National Park. Community fire pits near the Commons are a short walk from whichever tent spot guests are assigned. The Commons also houses the bathrooms and inside/outside kitchen areas. There is plenty of seating, hammocks and picnic tables for guests to use as well. We also have two yurts available for booking on our property. The Mooseshroom is a licensed business that is limited to hosting 18 guests per night. Guests should expect a quiet, peaceful camping experience with plenty of room to enjoy their surroundings. ***This property is adjacent Highway 2 and there is a fair amount of road noise. There's also a train that's fairly close. The noise kinda comes with the territory, guests are also 10 minutes from the west entrance to the park. The noise does tend to subside considerably at night, but for those bothered by this type of noise, you might consider an alternate location. Most guests are truly fine with it.

Site 4 - Mooseshroom Tent/Car Camping Spots

Terri is an amazing host! She is very accommodating. Made us feel comfortable and at home. Her site has awesome views of sunrise and sunset and is very close to Glacier National Park (about 20minutes to West Gate). Highly recommend if you want convenience, views, cleanliness, accessibility, everything!

Corams little gem

Everything… Teri has a fantastic little set up. Nestled in a quiet area off Hwy 2 a short drive from. West Glacier. The sites are nicely dispersed, you do hear the trains but it just added to the aesthetic. Teri is amazing, so gracious and kind, had coffee made early in the kitchen/shower area. Hot showers, towels, toilets and an incredible common area. I cannot sing her praises enough. She’s done an amazing job with the property. Highly recommend 10/10. I will be back to stay in a yurt. Easy to find just follow her directions, the road in is dirt and has some pits just take it slow. If you have the chance to meet her do it, she’s an amazing human being, knows a lot about the area. Just an absolute pleaser to talk to. My first experience with Hipcamp and it was an awesome one!

Terri was an excellent host. The shower had plenty of hot water and one can tell work is being done to improve the campsites . Overall a peaceful stay.

Glacier Yurt

Amazing Yurt Near Glacier Park!

We had an absolutely amazing time staying in Terri’s yurt! It was super comfortable and the common areas were so well set up and stocked with everything you could possibly need! We really enjoyed coming back to the space after long days in Glacier National Park. I will definitely be visiting again!

We really enjoyed our tent camping trip. Little cold, But worked well. The communal area was top notch, lovely showers and kitchen space. Plus a BBQ. Terri was very welcoming and helpful. We'd be back
