Discover the most magical spots to pitch your tent or park your rig on your next Hamlin Beach State Park adventure.
This popular lakefront park promises adventures on both water and land.
Located on the shore of Lake Ontario in New York’s Finger Lakes, Hamlin Beach State Park’s clear water and sandy beaches lure thousands of visitors each year. Swimming is a popular activity, as well as hiking and biking along its six miles of trails and snowmobiling and cross-country skiing. Visitors can also launch car-top boats, fish for salmon and trout and enjoy the picnic facilities. With 264 sites for RVs, trailers and tents, Hamlin Beach State Park Campground has plenty of space for those who wish to stay the night.
Hamlin Beach State Park is open year-round but the campground only opens from mid-May to early October. As the beach is the biggest draw, summer is the busiest time in the park. Spring and fall offer the chance to spot migrating birds while winter offers snowshoeing, snowmobiling, and cross-country skiing.
