When arriving at Steelhead Run you are greeted by the sounds of Lake Erie in a tranquil wooded setting. Only steps away from beautiful Lake Erie and Chautauqua Creek. Our location offers an array of experiences from walks along the beach, wildlife viewing, relaxing to the view of incredible sunsets and so much more. Cocktails, food, and public boat launching can be found just half a mile up the road. A quick drive inland, the historic town of Westfield provides weekend farmers markets, wineries, eateries, and antique shopping.

East Site
My husband I just happened to come across this site in our searches and I am so happy we did! This place is truly a hidden gem. The location and privacy are great. The RV sites are very clean and the full hook ups are an added bonus. The sites are also fully shaded which was really nice on the hot days we had it made it much cooler. The access to Lake Erie is right there as well which is really easy and convenient. I would definitely come back for a stay, we loved it!

Beautiful spot close to the lake
Really large and wide gravel camping pad makes pulling/backing in a breeze. Exceptionally clean sites with quality hook ups. Walking distance to river and lake. Quiet. The two sites directly face each other so although there are only two sites there is no privacy from the other campers. Chataqua Institute, galleries, restaurants are all close by. Would love it if there were an outhouse. For those who don’t like to use their RV toilets for solid waste there are porta potties at the gas station around the corner.

Absolutely best camping site ever! Very private, nice and quiet , surrounded by woods, and only a 30 second walk to the Lake Erie shoreline. The site has a high canopy of trees, so with a light rain we barely felt it. We loved it and will definitely return!

Very good hipcamp site.
Good full hookup camper site. About 100 yards from Lake Erie . Quiet area with several cabins, houses and other campsites nearby, but not crowded. Would definitely recommend and will likely book again in future seasons.
