Bear Hollow: Creekside Camp
This was a great camping spot for our family. Our kids enjoyed playing in the creek and had plenty of room to run around and play. The host was very nice and stopped by to make sure we had everything we needed! Even though it was closer to the road, not very many cars came by making it a quiet place to camp.

Bear Hollow: Creekside Camp
Camping & Motorcycle Riding
We stayed at Bear Hollow for a few days to do some motorcycle riding in the North Carolina mountains and the camp and location was perfect. Given the summer days we’re hot, taking a dip in the creek after our rides was just perfect. The cool, refreshing water was perfect for a cool down. Shannon & Robert were great hosts. Highly recommended!

Bear Hollow: Creekside Camp
Great, quiet campsite near a beautiful stream. Decent fishing - got some suckers and a Brookie. Shannon made sure we had everything we needed, including a gallon of water, firewood, and a luxurious compost toilet. Great spot!

Bear Hollow: Creekside Camp
We had a great stay at Shannon’s camp! The site was exactly as described. It was a quaint little spot right next to a relaxing stream. We didn’t hear any cars driving by all night. The accommodations of a composting toilet, sunshower, firewood, gallon of water, and chairs were a really nice touch. We would definitely come back and spend some time in the water next time.

Bear Hollow: Creekside Camp
Shannon was a great host! The camp spot is easily accessible, clean and private. Camp is on is beautiful creek, that is a great spot to fish! Loved the stone fire pit and it was a great night for a fire. The hosts provided a compost toilet in a tall shower tent, chairs, table and solar shower bags. Highly recommend this camp during your travels.
