Welcome to Fernwood Retreat at Bloom Hill Farms tucked away in the rolling hills of the coastal mountains. We call it Fernwood because of the beautiful ferns and forest area throughout our 8-acre farm. We currently offer three sites that are private and secluded. We are off the beaten path with no road traffic or light pollution which makes the night sky and stars so vibrant it looks like you could reach out your hand and touch them. Wake up in the morning, make some coffee and stroll the walking paths along the property. Sit on the creek side bench and soak in the sounds of the birds chirping or just listen to the water flow. Take a stroll through Fern Gully and listen to the squirrels chatter. We offer a meditation area, a communal fire pit, lighted paths, farm fresh eggs, seasonal veggies, a pond and even a big swing! We are situated in the beautiful Southern Willamette Valley and close to many award winning wineries like Bluebird Hills Cellars and Broadley Vineyards, breweries like Long Timber Brewing Company, hiking, waterfalls, mountain bike trails and just an hour away from the Pacific Ocean. William J. Finely Wildlife Preserve is just a few miles up the road as is the historic Hull-Oakes Lumber Mill. And my neighbor is Lainey Morse founder of Original Goat Yoga!! We provide a charging station/electricity, port-o-potty, potable well water and each site has two Adirondack chairs and a picnic table. Each stay includes a half dozen farm fresh eggs.

Beautiful place to get away! The lights are just magical. Everything felt very private. It was a bit hard to find since we pulled up in the dark but just use your best judgment and follow the instructions of the host!

Forest Site
The forest site was one of the nicest camp sites I’ve stayed at, perfectly set-up, shaded, and tucked away. Petra was an excellent and accommodating host, and her dogs were super friendly. Can’t wait to come visit and explore with the kids!

This was one of the best camping experiences! Stayed at the Hillside campsite, and it was super private. We have a toddler. This is very family friendly camping! Would definitely recommend and do again!
