You are minutes from local restaurants, 13 miles from Wallowa Lake State Park & all that the Wallowa-Whitman National Forest has to offer- trailheads for hiking, the lake for swimming or boating, and a bike or walking trail. Just outside of town you can head to the Minam River, or Snake River for fishing and recreation. 15 miles from the Zumwalt Prairie Nature Preserve where you can observe nature and agriculture.Enjoy the panoramic picturesque mountain views from the top of our quaint 15-acre farm in the heart of rural Wallowa County. The beauty of nature expands in every direction, with views of the Wallowa Mountain range, and the Seven Devils in Idaho. Savor the opportunity to catch the sunrise and sunset from the comfort of your camp. This area is surrounded by grassy hillsides, open fields, seasonal wildflowers, and unique wildlife. The site provides a picnic table for seating, and a sun umbrella. WIFI can be accessed here, as well as fresh water to make your stay more comfortable. Enjoy the closeness of our livestock, and the convenient opportunity to purchase firewood bundles, bags of ice, and fresh eggs right here on the farm. The campsite is located far enough away from the main residence to give you privacy, and far enough away from town to remove the noise and traffic. Enjoy this serene little space and take in all of what rural life has to offer. Being only 2 miles from town, you won’t need to sacrifice time when you head into town to explore some of the wonderful small businesses providing entertainment here locally to our visitors.
