**Please note, our property is for SELF-CONTAINED campers only - no toilet or hookups available. Class A RVs and large Fifth Wheels/Toy Haulers will NOT have enough height clearance on the road to our property** Our beautiful bluff property is close to charming old town Bandon, world class beaches, Bullards State Park, Whiskey Run mountain bike trails, Bandon Dunes golf resort, and more. We're close to all the amenities yet private and peaceful, with a large open meadow surrounded by river, forest, and cranberry bogs. We offer guests potable hose water and a trash bin. Pets are allowed but must stay at your campsite. We offer two different types of campsites at Prosper Bluff: Our Prosper Bluff with river access site can accommodate individuals or small groups of campers (up to 3 RVs). This open field camp with expansive views of the majestic Coquille River and Bandon Marsh National Wildlife Refuge is perfect for those who prioritize a spectacular view, privacy away from other campers, in proximity to town and recreation opportunities. There is river and dock access (along with more views!) from our hiking trail adjacent to the campsite. You have the entire bluff meadow and trail to yourself, ensuring you and your fellow campers can relax and explore with as much privacy as possible. Our two Lost Valley Van Camp sites can each accommodate one self-contained campervan or truck camper and offer a quiet place to pull up amongst the trees and cranberry bogs. Each site comes with a convertible bench/table for two and a flat grassy area to camp with plenty of room to turn your vehicle around. This spot is great for mountain bikers and other adventurers looking for a simple place to stay the night. Please message us with any questions.

Lost Valley Van Camp - Site 2
Two transit vans, two dogs, two mothers, two fathers and Finley Jane gathered here for Father’s Day weekend. We appreciated Brian’s mountain biking tips and enthusiasm for life. Next time we will have to catch a whale tour with Brian as the captain. Enjoyed whiskey run trails, trail to the waterway and Fun Sway and nearby beaches. Loved the privacy, peace and incredible view s of state marsh area.

Lost Valley Van Camp - Site 1
We were so fortunate to park the two vans in our group on the overlook looking out at the state marsh area. Brian is so interesting and has lots of information to share about local mountain biking walked down to the dock where we enjoyed the view and got to see the Fun Sway on its keel. Next time, hoping to get out on one of Brian’s whale watching tours as he is a captain. Can’t wait to come back here! Very quiet, peaceful and comfortable.

Lost Valley Van Camp - Site 1
We enjoyed staying here so much that we came back for another night on our way back down the coast. I really like how safe one feels tucked away so privately on Nicole and Brian’s land. And yet Bandon (which is a lovely town) is so close by! I like Site 1 for its ample shade (whereas Site 2 looked slightly more spacious but less shaded). Additionally Nicole and Brian were super-responsive whenever I wrote (we did late bookings each time, writing near the time we needed a place for the night). We’ll definitely return again!

Lost Valley Van Camp - Site 1
We really enjoyed our quiet and peaceful stay here! I recall someone said they could hear the highway, but it was so far away that we didn’t notice it at all, and slept so soundly. I also noticed there’s a large privacy fence now setup for the bluff lookout point, so there’s no visibility from the host’s house. It looked like a really beautiful view from up there! I really appreciated how well sign posted this place was and how clear the directions were too. So nice after a long day on the road, to have no trouble finding one’s spot. The hosts were very responsive too. We felt very safe and secluded. Definitely a place we’ll return to whenever we’re in the area!

Prosper Bluff with river access
We had a wonderful stay in our Sprinter Van! Quiet, beautiful and private. We enjoyed nearby Whiskey Run mountain biking and Dinner at the Lodge at Bandon Dunes.

Prosper Bluff with river access
Great view of the river
Great view of the river down below and it was pretty quite with the privacy fence inbetween the hipcamp site and the house. They have 2 dogs and one came to greet us each time we left the property. Seems expensive for no amenities but was worth it for the view.
