Hello! Welcome to our family’s farm. The previous owner was here 50 years before selling to us in 2020. We have just under 20 acres here with beautiful views of the mountains where we raise our livestock and gardens. Your camping area is down in a quiet hollow beside our stream and shallow pond under the walnut trees, but if the weather gets rough you can always camp in our bank barn. There is a kitchen beside our barn available for you to use if you would like, also.This is a private area by the creek and our pond. The pond is only a few feet deep, but can hold the aluminum boat that is here. There is plenty of room for you to set up a few tents. There will probably be a cow or two watching you and there’s always the chance a rogue chicken may wander through your camp. If the weather turns bad, you can use our bank barn that we rent for events and you are welcome to the milk house kitchen if you would like.

Walnut Hollow

We had an absolute blast at Candice’s farm. It was exactly what we needed. As former primitive backpackers gone parents, were looking for a private campsite with the ease of car camping with kids. Candice and family were so welcoming, but also gave us our privacy at our campsite. The site is very large, well shaded, and flat. My kids enjoyed the stream, campfire, and space to run around.

Quiet creekside spot on family farm

Travelling through to an event in Lancaster, we needed a convenient spot to spend the night. Candy made sure we found the place easily with a couple of text messages and met us with a property tour when we arrived. The camping spot is creekside, quiet and private with a clean portapotty up the hill, a firepit and picnic table underneath some large walnut trees. Room to wander a bit on the property. The native tree plantings along the creek were a good place to birdwatch and will be excellent habitat as they grow. Thanks for sharing your place with us!

Private farm oasis

We had an amazing time! The land was beautiful, the hosts were wonderful and it was a great first time camping for our small children. Beautiful sunset, plenty of shade, and an open area for throwing the frisbee or playing corn hole. Lots of hiking and exploring nearby as well!

Candy’s property was amazing and everything stayed and then some. We most definitely would have loved to stay a second night. Our campsite had everything we needed and then some! We appreciated the privacy, the cold clear creek and the frog pond! This was the first solo outing for me and my dog companion and it couldn’t have gone better. Howard said thank you for the beautiful spot (and the 🦴).

Excellent site with nice views, beautiful shade trees, tons of privacy, and plenty of level areas for tents. The barn kitchen was very useful for doing dishes. Candice and family were great.

Beautiful family friendly spot

We tent camped on Candy's beautiful property and had a great time. Our kids loved being shown the cows and chickens as well as the creek and pond. Perfect flat, shaded spot with pretty views and plenty of space and privacy. They generously provided firewood and had an easily accessible toilet. The stars were beautiful too!
