Olga Farm is a working organic vegetable farm with a Stargazing Field for primitive camping & it also offers a number of glamping options. Please contact us if you're interested in glamping at Olga Farm. The Stargazing Field at Olga Farm is perfect for camping, breathtaking sunrises, peaceful meditation, & you guessed it...stargazing in some of the darkest skies in the northeastern United States. It's adjacent to a working organic vegetable farm. Olga Farm is 4.4 miles from the charming town of Coudersport & its shops & eateries, including Olga Gallery, Cafe, & Bistro which is only 5.9 miles away. There's a great swimming hole less than 5.5 miles away. Cherry Springs State Park, a stargazing Mecca is 21 miles away. Olga Farm is a great base to explore the Pennsylvania Wilds. We are 36 miles from the Kinzua Skywalk & 46 miles from Leonard Harrison State Park, one of our favorite places to view the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon. Stargazing Field at Olga Farm

I met with John for a night of stargazing, but unfortunately the weather had turned for the worse and we were unable to see any stars and got rained in. However, John was extremely accommodating with our late arrival time and even let us check out a bit late. He was very understanding of our situation and tried to help us make the best out of a cloudy and rainy camping experience! He is a very friendly host and the site was very large, flat, clean, and grassy. I'm hoping to go back sometime to truly get the full experience!

Stargazing Field at Olga Farm

Stargazing/Olga Farm was Amazing!

As first time campers Stargazing Field at Olga Farm was perfect. John was very nice and let us know exactly when to view the stars at night. The camp ground was very clean (especially the composite toilets). Firewood was provided at the campsite for a very reasonable price. We had an amazing time and plan on returning with family and friends. The sky was surreal and something we’ve never experienced before.

Stargazing Field at Olga Farm

Do you see what I see?

My husband and I had a fantastic experience and time at Olga Farm. One thing that stood out was the cleanliness of the facility. Paths were well maintained and the bathroom was immaculately maintained and very clean. His rules for light pollution were understandable and appreciated once the sky darkened and the stars appeared. The level of depth in the sky was beyond words. John was also accessible for questions and was willing to give suggestions for local eateries and hiking and biking trails. Olga's gift shop offered a variety of art that made for a unique experience. I highly recommend this Hipcamp.

Stargazing Field at Olga Farm

John and Olga's land is always breathtaking. Their directions are spot on and always a friendly face to see. This was our 3rd trip with them and definitely will not be our last. Plenty of quick hiking areas and places just for a leisurely walk. This time of year brings lots of colors, which is beautiful. We went at a different moon phase but John was very knowledgeable and told us great times to check out the stars and best viewing areas on the land. Looking forward to our next trip

Stargazing Field at Olga Farm

Spectacular

My husband and I truly loved staying at Olga Farm. The cleanliness was one aspect that really stood out. John was very attentive and gave great recommendations for biking, hiking, and stargazing. The lack of light pollution made the night sky illuminate with the most beautiful depth of stars. Although we didn't have clear skies every night, I hope that we are able to camp there again in the near future. This is a true gem.
