Creek Side RV Site
Beautiful place
We enjoyed our 2-night stay in Garret’s land. The view across our campsite were cascading pine trees. Quaking aspens blew in the wind next to our camper van. The public bathroom was clean. Garret provided information about the site in advance. You have quick access to Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse, and not too long of a trip to Custer State Park. We will definitely consider staying here again when we come back.

Highly Recommend!!
This was our second stay, and we plan to continue making it an annual tradition! Theres a mix of cabins and RV spots, but we love staying across the creek in the open field -- it's perfect for our trailer/rooftop tent setup, our dogs have space to roam on their longer camping leashes, and the views are pretty (especially at night if the sky is clear!). It's also nice having the facilities and other amenities just a small walk away. The location is perfect and minutes away from countless activities, sites, and cute towns. Not to mention Garret is one of the best hosts I've met -- he's friendly, easy to communicate with, professional, and goes above and beyond for his guests. We can't recommend this place enough, and look forward to our next visit!!

Open Creekside Camping
This was an amazing place to tent camp! Their is easy access to hiking and a small store if you need anything. The directions were clear and Garrett checked on us multiple times. Being right next to the creek made it the best campsite we have gone to so far!!!

Great place to stay
It's a beautiful spot, along the creek, tucked far enough off the road it was very quiet. Showers were bright and clean. Near 2 large lakes and 15 minutes from Rushmore. Cut through the back gate and you're on Black Hills Forest Service land with easy trail access. Garret is constantly improving and upgrading the place which makes all the difference. I'd definitely stay there again.

Open Creekside Camping
Great Campground!
We loved the tent camping sites on Garret’s land! We really like our privacy when we camp and had the opportunity to choose a site that was further away from people than most. We could still see and often hear the people across the creek in RVs but it didn’t bother us at all. Having the sound of the creek right next to us when we slept was so great! We walked our dogs around the campground and they loved having the nice grass at our site. The bath house was also a perk having toilets and showers after a full day of hiking. It’s also in a great location to visit Custer State Park and Mt Rushmore. Super central to anything you want to do in the Black Hills. Garret communicated early with directions and we felt very well looked after. Would highly recommend!
