Learn more about this land: You’ll cross the covered bridge (clearance 11’6” ) as you enter our farm, a 73 acre small family farm, nestled in the Buffalo Valley of Northeast TN, and featuring a down home country atmosphere. What makes our farm special are all of the unique extras: a working log cabin blacksmith shop, log cabin art gallery, certified commercial kitchen, lots of watchable wildlife, and walking trails. We have a one acre wildlife pond and a smaller pond fed by springs and Buffalo Creek, which runs through the farm. Our small buffalo herd is pastured not far from the campsites and our friendly peacocks and chickens roam the grounds. We also offer classes in blacksmithing, art, foraging and cooking periodically. We are rural but not remote and are minutes away from state parks, fishing, hiking, rafting and other recreational activities as well as downtown Johnson City and Historic Jonesborough with breweries, shops, and many restaurants. As purveyors of Appalachian culture and cuisine, we invite you to stay a day , or longer, to share our friendly and relaxing small farm atmosphere in the mountains.

Great farm campsite!
We had a great time at the farm! We were welcome with homemade pound cake. My daughters loved seeing the bison and it was easy access and to find. It feels private and is a beautiful spot. You can hear a little bit of road noise from the highway but not enough to be too annoying. We definitely plan to go back to this spot!

Peaceful, quaint, friendly
We took our small trailer over the covered bridge and parked it in a fairly open space, but there were large trees nearby for some shade. The farm was perfect for our weekend stay! Pat greeted us with pound cake she baked, and we even went into Jonesborough to the Farmer’s Market after talking with her. We enjoyed visiting with her family, and the spectacle of Bison and peacocks on the property. Would stay again! Adding showers will make it a great place for any length stay ;)

Camp with Buffalo!
What a great place! Pat and her family were so warm and inviting. We were able to walk about the farm, see the Buffalo, the peacocks and let our dog swim in their pond. There is so much to do and it is so quiet and relaxing. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful and serene
This was one of the best camping experiences I've ever had! Myself and two other mothers brought our children to camp this weekend for Mother's Day. The host was so welcoming upon arrival and showed us right to our site and even checked in with us throughout the weekend to make sure we were doing okay. The property is absolutely gorgeous with fresh flowers growing everywhere, peacocks roaming, and the bison in the background. There's beautiful walking trails around the bison and a lovely pond that two of the campsites are located right on. I highly recommend this property and these hosts and I will definitely be returning!
