Hello, and welcome to my private horse hobby ranch. My family has lived in Southern Utah for over 26 years. This property is within only a couple miles of the Three Peaks Recreation area near Cedar City, Utah. Three Peaks offers mountain bike trails, hiking, free day use campfire sites, an RC track, ATV and OHV trails, campgrounds, and an equestrian obstacle course and trailheads. Nearby is the county shooting range as well. Cedar City is home to many more hiking, biking and equestrian trails all within a 10 - 30 min drive away. Bryce Canyon National park is only a 1 hour’s drive away. Zion’s national park is only a 1 1/2 hour’s drive away. Cedar canyon is only a 20 min drive away and boasts beautiful canyons with evergreen trees, aspens, ponds, trails, and waterfalls. Cedar Breaks National Park is only a 20-30 min drive away with spectacular rock cliffs and overlooks. Brianhead ski and mountain bike resort is also only a 30 min drive away. This is a central location with endless possibilities to go exploring the amazing outdoors. This is a private residential property in a neighborhood with lot sizes ranging from 1 to 10 acres. There is only one RV site so it’s much quieter than a public campground. The driveway area circles around the private home so it is easy to pull your RV through to the RV pad/spot. Please realize your respect to this property and neighborhood is of utmost importance. There are neighbors with cows, geese, chickens, goats, dogs and pigs so realize it’s not as quiet as some places but still more private than many public venues. We also respect you, so please look at pictures and read descriptions. I am happy to answer any questions before you book. There is only one RV site here. You could put a tent up in the dirt but I don’t recommend it as I can’t imagine it would be very comfortable. There are horses in corrals, my people and dog friendly dog is off-leash, and there are 5 barn cats who roam free on the property (2 of which are as friendly as dogs). All persons staying on the property will need to sign a liability waiver since it is a horse property and horses are present. My horses aren’t offered for riding but ask about other ways you can interact with them if you desire. At no additional cost you can help care for them, brush them, and learn a few fun facts about them. For a fee you can get guided experiences with them on the ground (not in the saddle), do breath work sessions with them, and learn basic horsemanship skills. This is a RV hookup on a personal property of appx 2 acres. The RV hookup is 50 feet East of the primary residence. The parking spot is sufficient for a RV up to 65 feet. There is a pull around driveway accessing the RV pad that circles around the residence. Please read all descriptions and rules. Horses are present on the property so each guest must sign a liability waiver even if they do not interact with the horses. The RV pad has a hookup to the septic system. It has a frost free hydrant providing potable water from a community well. The power outlet is located appx 50-75 feet away and an extension cord is provided during your stay. You must provide the correct adapter (I have a 30 amp and a 50 amp dog bone adapter that you are welcome to borrow). There are 4 other water hydrants located around the property to access water from as well. Internet is also provided at no additional cost. For no additional cost you are welcome to ask about helping to care for the horses. If any guests would like guided interactions with the horses there are fees. Riding horses is not possible at this time. Ask for more information if you are interested! The dog roams free off leash, and is friendly with people and other dogs. There are 5 barn cats also roaming the property and some are very friendly. If you are bringing pets please be respectful of these animals and ask about rules. Guests’ pets must not harm hosts’ pets or horses and must be on-leash. Once you arrive and the animals meet we can see if an off-leash option works for all parties. There is absolutely no smoking or vaping allowed anywhere on the property. This is the only RV hookup on the property so it is more private than a larger RV park. There are neighbors with goats, cows, pigs, chickens, and dogs.

Unexpected highlight of our trip!
Our stay at Rachel’s Hipcamp site was a much bigger treat than I’d ever anticipated when I booked it. Rachel was a gracious host. We had expected to arrive on the later side, so she provided detailed instructions for locating her property and the electric hookups in the dark at night. Rachel was extremely welcoming and friendly, and her property is beautiful! Our dogs were able to run around her fenced-in property, which was a huge treat for them. Best of all was when Rachel introduced us to her horses, answered all our questions about them, and gave us carrots to feed them as treats. It was such an unexpected highlight of the trip! Highly recommend staying at Rachel’s site. We will return next time we’re passing through.
