Two secluded forest tent sites with easy access to Hwy 101. Site #1 will accommodate 3 tents and 2 cars for a total of 8 people. There is a picnic table, tent platform, and fire ring. Site #2 is a small rugged tent campsite for one tent with parking for one car. Lakefront access for swimming available for an add-on. Conveniently located off Hwy 101, it is a perfect stop for the night to break up a long road trip, or use it as central hub for visiting other area attractions.

Forest Site #1
Great little site right by Lake Sutherland! I stayed here with what ended up being a group of 5 over Labor Day weekend. It felt super private, was in a beautiful shaded spot in the woods, and convenient location by Lake Sutherland. I highly recommend the lake and dock access add-on for swimming and hanging out by the water. It was exactly what we were looking for! This was my first time camping without potable water or flush toilets on site, but the porta-potty was super clean and recently serviced, and the site is close enough to nearby stores and restaurants that if you forget anything it would be easy to make a quick errand. Even with this proximity to civilization and the lake houses, the site itself felt very secluded and private for a camping trip with friends. We booked both site #1 and #2 so that we could confidently have the place to ourselves. I think if there had been a group of strangers staying at site 2, it would be felt a little odd as the sites are pretty close and share a porta-potty that is basically located on site 1. If you’re going with a group on a busy weekend, I would definitely recommend just booking both sites. Also recommend bringing bug spray/itch relief as it is a nicely shaded site and we experienced moderate mosquitoes. Only suggestion for hosts would be to move porta potty further from the site 1 picnic table due to chemical smell and shared access between sites. Hosts were super friendly and great with communication. We’ll definitely be back!

Forest Site #1
Site #1 was a perfect spot for our short one night stay. The porta potty was well taken care of and recently serviced, the space was clean and ready to use, and the directions to get there were super easy. We loved having access to the lake but could definitely hear highway noise until late into the night and pretty early in the morning (a distant droning, nothing super close by). Overall a great stay and would definitely stay again!

Forest Site #1
Felt very cozy and private while still being close to 101 and a convenience store! Great instructions on how to find it. Would stay again

Forest Tent Site #2
Decent Stay
In a good location really close to lake crescent. Campsite #2 is a lot smaller compared to #1, but it’s nice there’s a honey bucket. We passed the turn on our first time driving because the sign was so small we could barely read it. The campfire was nice but a lot of logs around it were too wet to burn. We bought some wood but it didn’t last too long. It did the job for one night but probably wouldn’t want to stay longer. I’m not much of a camper though

Forest Tent Site #2
Not the woods
Site was quite disappointing and the photos were not of the site I was directed to. The site I showed up to was barely large enough for my tent and in a fancy residential neighborhood where people could see into my site easily from their homes and vice-versa. There was no way I was going to pitch a tent and camp here for 3 days. That meant that after a 3-hour drive, I had to go find another place to stay. Maybe site 1 is OK but what I arrived to was not a campsite and should not be billed as such.
