40 acres hosted by Linda L.
3 RV/tent sites
Property has gravel and hardpan dirt to put an RV/trailer or tent to view and access the desert, and see the beautiful sunrise and sunset as well as the starry night sky without lights or trees interfering.
The property backs up to Dept of Natural Resources Land, which is accessible by hiking in only (no motor vehicles or ATVs). There is a trail on property and many miles of gravel roads available for biking.
Mountain bikes recommended (no motor bikes/ATVs allowed).
Campfires are not allowed.
There are many lakes for fishing within driving distance.
This is desert land, so it has natural desert animals, such as rattlesnakes and coyotes. Please be aware and be prepared. Dogs need to be watched or on leash at all times. There are 40 acres at the Ranch, with level places on hard-dirt or on gravel surfaces for bringing a trailer or setting up a tent in the area where the house sets. The site requires guests to be self-sufficient for their electric, toilet, and water needs (although we have water outside to fill containers, if needed). Our place is one of many 40+ acre properties in the area, and ours is located next to Dept of Natural Resources property that can be accessed there. Guests will be able to enjoy trails throughout our property, or biking on the surrounding gravel roads (no ATVs). The night skies, without any surrounding lights nearby, are often breathtaking, as well as the sunrises and sunsets. Fishing and boating lakes are within 30-45 min. driving distance. The area is the desert, so high temps in summer and low temps in winter with mid-range temps spring and autumn, and not much rain year-round. Fires will not be allowed, but there is a charcoal grill that can be available to use.
