Earthenlight Retreat is 5 acres of peace and quiet! Situated in rural Gadsden County, we have several campsites in our beautiful woods. There is fishing, kayaking, boating, hiking, and bicycling within 10 miles of us. There is also a stock tank pool to hang out and cool off of warm days. Coming soon: Earthenlight Pottery Retreats with instruction in basic pottery skills and pit and raku firings!

Site 2 - Earthenlight Retreat

Super freaking cute primitive stay!

Joyce is so responsive and kind! The land is beautiful and signage on the latrine and fire-extinguishing bucket were so charming I took a picture to share with my friends. 😊 It is perfect for a weekend away for people comfortable with and capable cohabitating with spiders and poison ivy. We were just fine because we love untouched woodlands, and that's what Florida offers. Campers sensitive to such things should be aware that the sites are as primitive as we had hoped.🌱 And her cat, Bobby, is the highlight of the visit! Tiny little leaf-stirring step sounds as the cat walked down the hill toward our tent were adorable additions to our stay. ❤️

Site 2 - Earthenlight Retreat

Solo full moon camping adventure :3

The camp was super relaxing and a very nice private retreat. The pool is great to hang at and gets sunlight in the morning for just enough time to soak up some rays before it gets too hot and shade from the tree once the afternoon arrives. Joyce and Nathaniel were amazing hosts. Nice area, comfortable outdoor latrine, amazing wildlife and more👍

Quaint campsite in woods

Very nice and private campsite. Little bit of a walk to the tent sites but not too bad. We will happily return when possible.
