The Tallapoosa River Hideaway is a private campsite rental located directly on the Tallapoosa River. Guests can swim, fish, and explore the surrounding area. The property features a newly built deck and pavilion overlooking the river, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the scenery. The Tallapoosa River Hideaway is ideal for families with children, as the water depth is suitable for wading and swimming. The Tallapoosa River Hideaway is a campsite nestled amidst 150-year-old oak trees on the banks of the Tallapoosa River. Guests can relax on the deck, roast marshmallows over the fire pit, or explore the river by kayak.Secluded campsite great for kids! When water is at normal level only about waste deep on adults with plenty of shallow spots! You will be located right along the beautiful Tallapoosa River where you are welcome to swim, fish, explore, and unwind on the newly built 16x16 deck and 16x30 pavilion/camper cover overlooking the river! You won’t be sharing the property with anyone, it will be your own private retreat. conveniently located only 1 hour west from Atlanta out I-20 or 2 hours east from Birmingham It’s great spot for couples or families to reconnect in the beautiful West Georgia landscape surrounded by 150 year old oaks and a 1930s steel bridge stretching over the clear waters of the Tallapoosa River! Equipped with fire pit, 16x16 deck, 16x30 pavilion, and much more! If you are interested in Kayaking you can put in at my place and float to the the Dub Denman Canoe Trail public access #1 popular springs road. It is about a 6 hour paddle. I have 3 adult and one child kayak you are welcome to use just treat them as your own!

Tallapoosa Camper River Hideaway
Perfect summer stay!
If you love the privacy of camping but can't stand the summer heat, this place is perfect for you. It is on the cutest little river, kayaks supplied, with a brand new beautiful deck. The site itself is completely private and the RV was so nice! Tori was quick to reply to my messages. It was a wonderful stay. We will back!

Deck Over Golden Waters!
We took our a-liner ranger 12 and made it in and out no problem. The roof of the site was just tall enough to accommodate our a-frame camper. We had a wonderful time, the river was cool and refreshing, great for just floating around in. Maybe just over 3ft deep at the deepest.

Hidden gem on river.
What a great hideaway, so peaceful and secluded. The river was beautiful. Everyone loved it, would have stayed longer if we had time.

Tallapoosa Camper River Hideaway
Living in my RV down by the river!!
Tori's property was amazing. I was able to pull my 22' Travel Trailer down her newly gravel road with ease right down to her riverfront site (thats about the max I'd try to get down there. She's in process of adding a wood deck overlooking river. Can't wait to see finished product. Only downfall were neighboring dogs... they would come visit site (which was ok as there were friendly & quiet). However, there was some night time barking off in the distance could easily be heard from site. Tori's communication was outstanding. & offering to help get in/out and even having a friend stop by for assistance if needed was reassuring. I'd definitely make.this a stop for some R & R if stopping thru the W Georgia /E Alabama corridor. Thanks Tori!!!

Tallapoosa Camper River Hideaway
Great for large groups
The site was large and very well kept. The fire pit and seating room around it was a great size for a larger group. The poles with the swinging bench were perfect for hammocks and it was nice that we were able to bring our dogs!
