City of Rocks RV offers wide open mountain views at the entrance to the City of Rocks National Reserve. We provide partial hookups (water and electric 20/30/50), "Big Rig" pull-thru sites, Pioneer Bathrooms (rustic outhouse), and the beauty and seclusion of the Silent City of Rocks and the Almo Valley. We also have tent sites available. Enjoy our new enclosed, leash free, dog play area. We are conveniently located just outside the entrance to the Park on the City of Rocks Road. Big Rig access has always been limited in the City of Rocks so we made every site large with pull thru access. Public RV dump station is only 1 mile away. Whether you are here to climb, camp, hike, snowshoe, bird, fish, hunt, stargaze, relax, or all the above, we offer the ideal base-camp. We newly opened April of 2020 and as a result we don't yet have mature shade trees and the landscaping is scattered native grasses. We are continuously working on landscaping improvements to make your future stays even better. New for 2024, expanded wind fences and plug in electric at each tent site! We hope to see you soon!

Camping in beautiful location!

Great location with wonderful valley and Mountain View’s. Close to town, yet far enough away and easy access to all the wonderful sights, trails, hot springs, hiking, climbing, etc!

Great host!! Thank you for a great stay Ross. We loved our stay at this rv park. Very beautiful setting, quiet, and right outside city of rocks. The hiking, and biking was great. The surrounding area was perfect. Hope to visit again

Beautiful

Nice tent site. Clean bathrooms. Quiet. Smooth gravel roads and parking for my low clearance car. Will be back in warmer weather!
