This is country life. The airstream hideaway sits on 6 acres surrounded by woods, farmland, birds, deer, rabbits, foxes, and more. Instead of eliminating nature, we embrace awareness and knowledge for coexisting with insects, wildlife, critters, plants, etc. For visitors who love walking: the three roads of this neighborhood are dead ends and have hills. Perimeters of agricultural fields can also be walked, if desired. Other things to note: Our home is on site and located toward the front of the property. The outdoor space includes patio mat, picnic table, charcoal BBQ grill, chairs, fire pit, and RV awning. It is a cool spot to relax. The front porch becomes an outdoor dining area in moments. I try to keep wood for the fire pit nearby for guests to use. At night, the fresh air and crackling fire pit bring back memories of youthful whispered stories.Take it easy at this tranquil getaway. It's unique & off the beaten track. Perfect to wander by day; star gaze by night. Step back in time to the peaceful easy feeling of 1973. Retro meets convenience: 3 miles to gas, Dollar General 5 miles to Walmart, AlDi's 7 miles to Publix 7 miles to Fairhope (don't miss it!) 14 miles to OWA Amusement & Water Park in Foley 20 miles to Gulf Shores or Orange Beach About the Space: This 24 foot vintage Airstream Argosy features AC/Heat, twin beds with fresh linens, a small "full" bath with shower, 2 burner gas stove, microwave, kitchen sink, mini fridge, dinette table, and a Roku tv to use your favorite streaming apps. The many cabinets, drawers, and closets hold most of your needs for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is stocked with coffee maker, dishes, utensils, pots and pans, and a few more cooking essentials. Guests are encouraged to fully enjoy the grounds, explore the woods, wander down to the river. If you're not sure which direction to go, I'll be happy to assist. Please do not attempt to enter the main house, carport, or wood shed.

Quiet couple’s retreat

We Loved our stay here! The grounds were beautiful and perfect for a backyard stargazing kind of night. The airstream was well cared for, comfy twin beds were delightful, site felt like our own private RV park. Most impressive: the mini fridge Refroze our ice packs! Clear directions and yummy snacks greeted us at the door, check in was so easeful. We fully enjoyed our day in Fairhope, the public park on the bay was a treat!

Super nice vintage trailer…

Super nice vintage trailer… everything works great and very comfortable, its parked a decent distance behind the main house so very private.. with huge private yard to yourself.. you can pull your vehicle around main house and park right alongside trailer.. its only about 20-30 minutes to the beaches.. and only about 5miles to supermarkets, restaurants, etc.. a great peaceful stay.. and Meilssa had the a/c already running and cold waters in the fridge upon arrival.. nice touch.. thanks!
