All to yourself
100% of recent Hipcampers say this Hipcamp felt private.
12 secluded acres to yourself. Waterfront, with entire cove for your enjoyment. Watch eagles mate, forage for mushrooms and enjoy the songs of the birds. Make a fire by the shore whilst reeling in Catfish for the eating. It is so quiet, it is loud. It is the perfect place to disconnect. Essentially, just you , your people and nature. No neighbors to be heard. No buzzing boats to be heard on Yates lake.Take advantage of our two canoes on site to paddle Lake Yates or Coon Creek. Walk the Forever Wild trail to view Alabama's best birds. Wet your fishing line to bait in Crappie, Bass and Catfish for the eating. Forage for sought after mushrooms. End your day with use of our stone firepit . Watch the sunset from the deck of your canvas tent

Beautiful place!
The hubby and I went over Labor weekend to celebrate our 32nd wedding anniversary and it was exactly what we wanted peace and quiet..it was so relaxing and private...Erica had everything we needed from what we needed to cook with, also plates, silverware, papertowel even stuff for bathroom area...the tent is wonderful very clean, king-size bed. Had chairs inside and out. We pretty much had the lake to ourselves...for the hike in I would recommend wearing tennis shoes or hiking boots since it's slope down to camp and stay to right going down there are poles along path ...they had a wagon to help bring stuff down...If your looking for privacy peace and quite I would HIGHLY recommend hide away cove!

Excellent experience!!
This was my first experience "glamping" even though i have gone camping my whole life. I was immediately impressed by the location. Right on the edge of a fishable lake. The view was amazing. The tent set up was like your bedroom at home.... just in the woods. They provided everything you would need. From toiletries, grills and cooking equipment to firewood for the fire pit. They even include two canoes for use on the lake with life preservers and all. The location was peaceful with just the sounds of the deer and fish jumping in the lake to sooth you to sleep at night. I was there for an event offsite but would definitely return just to stay at the site longer. I would highly recommend Erica's site and look forward to glamping there again.
