10 acres native grass land in prairie meadow ecosystem. Lots of birds and wildlife in the area.
Tent camping or small trailer, no services.
Gravel county access road.
Camping gear available for rentThe camp is on a bare 10 acre lot with the hillside situated north/south leaving the bottom of the meadow out of any possible wind, (Highly likely). Hill is steep and somewhat technical, camping closer to road is available. Seasonal creek flowing during the spring, summer is minimal flow. Native grasses and shrubs with plenty of wildlife in the area. Fire pit area to be monitored closely and all fires to be soaked thoroughly, fire ban very possible to start late spring. Services hopefully to come in the future. Hunters/Fisherman welcome. Would consider using property as storage location for travellers wanting to lighten their load before crossing the border. Renting camping gear or sale of firewood is available with added costs.
