We have the best time at Adam's ranch! The kids loved running around the hay bails (as did our dog). Adam taught us lots about ranching, horses, and swapped some stories with us at the fire. Hands down a fantastic experience that the whole family loved!

Beautiful Place, Beautiful People
30 ft travel trailer · With kids
We had the BEST stay at Sky Hound Ranch. We felt like we were staying with old friends the whole time. Half the time we forgot we had just met Adam and the neighbors.
Us and the kids were treated like we had been there all along. Adam and Matt blessed the kids with some horse rides. For two of the kids it was their first time on a horse and for one it was the first time she remembers.
The area is quiet and peaceful. The view is beautiful. The people are the best part.
This was a slice of heaven on our way to Alaska.
Thank you for making the last few days so very wonderful.
I wanted to do something special for them before we left but my lame self spent the entire day in meetings for work.

Would definitely recommend!
Tent
My husband and I went here for a super short one night trip. Adam was lovely and so was his property. We opted to find our own tent spot and ended up having the entire back pasture to ourselves. Our dogs loved it! We had a great time and will definitely be back!

Great stay. Kids had a blast
32 ft campervan · With kids
Adam was very thoughtful, showing us around, telling my daughter all about the horses and even taking the time to let her ride. Area was great - we had a large quiet field to ourselves. Would definitely stay again if we come back through the area.

Home on the Range
Tent · With kids
We loved Sky Hound Ranch! Adam was super personable and very relaxed. His horses were amazing and well behaved, and we had a lot of fun watching the cattle in the fields. We were offered a tour of the ranch in their side-by-side which was cool.
Although the horses are for more experienced riders, Adam gave my little girl some quality horse time anyways! The site for camping was well maintained, lots of space to venture off, and there is fire wood available for the evenings.
Be prepared to go 'rustic'! It's an open air shower, but it comes with hot water! You can also cook on the camp stove if needed.
Thanks so much for the visit! I would def recommend this camp for anyone looking for peace and quiet.

Camping with my Labrador
Tent · With pets
What a unique and wonderful place to stay. Adam was a fantastic host, and I thoroughly enjoyed camping at his place; the sound of the wild lulled me into a sound sleep after a day on the road.
I also had a fantastic time being shown around the property on horseback, even if my Labrador didn’t know what to make of the cows as we rode by 😂. 10/10 would stay again and I highly encourage folks to book a stay with Adam.
