We are a family-owned RV park and tiny home village located 50 minutes from the east entrance to Grand Canyon National Park and only 20 minutes north of Flagstaff, Arizona. Our family -- Adam, Shelley, Zoe, Ava, and Cairo -- purchased the RV park in 2021. The property was a trading post for decades but had fallen into disrepair. We have been busy painting, cleaning and improving the grounds to become a comfortable oasis for your family. Our location on US Hwy 89 on the east side of the highway is only a few miles from the breathtaking aspens of Lockett Meadow, the ruins of Wupatki National Monument and the lava flows at Sunset Crater. The park is a short drive to downtown Flagstaff, and on the way to the Grand Canyon, Monument Valley, Lake Powell, Moab and Durango. Stay the night or as long as you like! Drink in the hibiscus sunrises above the Painted Desert and relax into the long shadows of the San Francisco Peaks. Let us know if you want to borrow a telescope to explore the darkest night sky you have ever seen! We are excited to share our home with you!

The site was very clean and online check in made everything easy. Owners were friendly. Nice place for kids to run around away from the other campers. This site is under very dark skies and is great for viewing with a telescope while still providing access to water and electricity.

While we never met the hosts everything was perfect. Sites were well maintained, quiet campground and good location. Enjoyed our stay.

Lots of potential

I think the place has great potential it just needs a little cleaning up the landscape and more trees for shade. The front buildings could use some remodel but we liked our stay.

Exploring the Grand Canyon

We absolutely loved staying at Shelley and Adam's homestead! First, the hosts are very good communicators and ensured we had an exceptional experience. Second, the location was ideal. We were approximately 30 minutes from Flagstaff and approximately one hour from the East Entrance, which is Desert View entrance. For you newbies the Desert View entrance is less crowded and offers better views of the Grand Canyon. Third, the campground has only a cluster of tiny homes and RV spots making the location that much more special. Fourth, the views of the San Francisco Peaks and the miles of trails outside our RV for dog walks was exceptional. Fifth, the Lodge is packed with any and all amenities you may have forgotten or ran out of along your travels, including: food, drinks, medicine, books and games. Lastly, the actual hook ups appeared to be brand new, a rare occurrence in the camping world. We highly recommend the Grand Canyon Oasis High Desert Camp.
