Private sites
98% of recent Hipcampers say the sites felt private.
We have 40 acres of woods, waterfalls, hiking, stargazing, bird watching, and sunset watching for the campers who like primitive camping. Enjoy the best of both worlds with a quiet, natural area to camp in, and destinations to see close by. Private area with sun, and plenty of shade. Blackberry's are available to pick in late June or early July. There are three logging trails you can hike just behind the campground. They lead to a creek you can follow for moderate hike. There are cliffs, and plenty of scenery to enjoy. We are a short drive away from Eureka Springs, Turpentine Creek(big cat sanctuary), War Eagle Cavern, and War Eagle Mill. Hobbs State National Park is close by off Scenic Highway 12, with biking, and walking trails galore! We are also close to many of the NW Arkansas mountain biking trails in the area! Access to Beaver Lake is a short drive or a long hike down the scenic rock roads. Due to the remote, and private location, we want to remind anyone consuming alcohol under the age of 21 will not be tolerated. Safety is very important to us. We are looking forward to seeing you. Happy Camping!
Jerry and Jill's campsite offers a remote and well-maintained escape, perfect for those looking to enjoy nature without the crowds. Guests consistently note the helpfulness and friendliness of the hosts, who provide thoughtful touches like water jugs and firewood. The sites are private yet conveniently close to swimming spots, and the clear directions make access easy, even on gravel roads. While some mention the occasional noise from passing cars or other campers, the overall experience is peaceful and rejuvenating, making it a favored return spot for many.
The solitude and peace were exactly what we needed. It was very quiet and tranquil, the hosts were very kind and accommodating as well. I loved the trees and listening to the birds in the morning, and had a perfect view of the stars. Would highly recommend and can't wait to visit again!
I loved camping here!! Jerry was so kind, and brought us a hammock when we realized someone from our group forgot theirs. It was very peaceful, and will definitely be back in the summer to swim in the recommended swim spots! Also, great hammock spots around the fire!
We loved our stay here. It was private & quiet, with lots of places to explore. The owners were so kind and responsive to any questions. We would definitely choose to stay here again.
Jerry was a great host. He even measured the tent area for us before our trip to make sure our large canvas tent would fit the area. The communication was clear and prompt. Directions were easy and overall we loved our time there! We will for sure be visiting again.
Very nice owners. Greeted us when we arrived and gave us a list of hiking/sights recommendations.
We had the whole area to ourselves but even if we didn’t it would’ve been private enough for us. Very nice clean area up there. They’ve done a good job maintaining the area.
