Welcome to “A Tiny Peace in Paradise!” Our handcrafted tiny house is located in the beautiful northern redwoods on the coast of Mendocino, CA. We welcome adult guests to our property seeking a relaxing, peaceful and unique experience both inside and outside the Tiny House. The natural scenery of the forest serves as the backdrop for multiple gardens and sitting areas. Enjoy the outdoor property for dining, campfires, and relaxing in hammocks, while finding all the comforts of home strategically built into the tiny house interior. The kitchen is fully equipped with microwave, coffee and tea bar, coffee-bean grinder, stove and refrigerator. The soaking tub in the bathroom is perfect for a hot relaxing soak after a day of fun. If you prefer a shower, our outdoor shower is nestled among the redwoods and surrounded by lush greenery for a private, one-of-a-kind experience. Robes, towels, slippers and bathroom essentials are provided. The couch on main level converts to a queen bed and will be ready for you when you arrive. Flat screen TV and internet are included. Book your mini retreat at “A Tiny Peace in Paradise” where your trip to the redwoods by the sea will not disappoint.The Mendocino coast has an abundance of hiking/bike trails, kayaking rentals and tours, fishing, whale watching and surfing. Beaches are plentiful with many state parks and camping sites. Concerts, festivals, and special attractions are scheduled throughout the summer and fall with wine tasting close by in surrounding areas. Mendocino has no shortage of quaint shops and specialty dining with Fort Bragg close by with Noyo Harbor and the Botanical Gardens.

A TINY Peace of Paradise

We had a wonderful time staying here! Everything about our visit was fantastic. In particular, a long hot soak in the tub was the perfect complement to our hike at River Gulch State Park to see the waterfall, and finishing each day with a snuggle by the campfire was so peaceful and relaxing. I will also mention there were so many thoughtful details inside the tiny home, and it was especially delightful to have such a functional kitchen for meal prep.

This place was amazing. When the lights come on at dusk, the area looks magical. The shower no longer works due to sea salt in the parts but that doesn't take away anything from the relaxing nature of the property. The craftsmanship and detail of the tiny house itself are impressive and cozy. Marcy and Sam are both super nice people and genuinely welcoming. I definitely want to stay here again.

Incredibly magical

We had an absolutely magical stay with Marcy and Sam. Their property is stunning and incredibly peaceful. Even though we were only there two nights, we felt like we had taken a 2 week vacation because of how restorative the forest was. Medocino is a short drive away, so this is a wonderful place to stay and still see the town. Highly recommend!

Cabin in the redwoods

Marcy and Sam were the sweetest hosts. We loved staying in their cabin— which packs in everything you need in a tiny cozy space. It was so nice to be able to cook on a stovetop, take a nice bath after a long day of hiking, and sleep in a real bed, but still feel like you are camping out. There were abundant blankets, kitchen tools, and a fire pit outside the cabin. The surrounding woods are beautiful. Thank you again to our hosts for a truly relaxing weekends! Looking forward to staying again : )
