Nestled in the hills of idyllic Mount Washington, 5 miles from Downtown Los Angeles, this charming renovated 1968 Streamline "Empress" trailer is there perfect city hide out for your next LA adventure. The perfect size for 2, the trailer is fully equipped with all the basics you'll need for your stay. Enjoy golden hour sunsets on the plant filled patio with an abundance of lounging options as well as a big bbq and outdoor shower! The trailer is on the side of owner Tamarra's house and has a neighbor nearby on the side but is otherwise very private. You will have your own entry and private outdoor patio. Mount Washington is a very quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Walk up the hill to the self realization center on a sunny afternoon. Their beautiful grounds are often open to the public to visit and are a great place to meditate. Hip and fun Highland Park neighborhood is just a quick scoot down the hill and has lots of great bars, boutiques, and restaurants. I really enjoyed staying in the trailer, it is such a gem! It also felt very private and safe. Everything works well in the trailer, except the oven but that's not bad. You have lots of space for yourself outside and a huge BBQ grill. I did not want to leave anymore!

Loved my stay here! 10/10!

I absolutely loved my stay at Tamarra’s beautiful airstream trailer Jojo! I didn’t release how beautiful Mt Washington was going to be. A safe and friendly neighbour with breathtaking views over the city. Close by you have highland park with lots of cool cafes and restaurants and the train station is just a short walk away. Tamarra has gone above and beyond with ammenities in the trailer. Lots of storage space to unpack and feel like a local LA resident. The bed was so so comfy I had the best sleeps and the overall vintage aesthetic was very cool! I absolutely loved the outdoor courtyard with so many nooks to sit and relax outside. It’s like tropical Bali in LA! The outdoor shower was incredible too. Extremely clean 10/10 loved it, if your thinking about booking do it! 🙏🏼🤍✨

Delightful Empress

Tamarra thought of everything, big and small that made our stay comfortable and easy. The trailer itself is a vintage gem and the location is an oasis in the middle of a big city. We also enjoyed exploring the main street down the hill with cute restaurants and coffee shops.

More than worth it.

This stay truly exceeded my expectations. We made it very last second on the weekend of a music festival, and I had been searching for a hotel or Airbnb and had never tried Hipcamp. I’m so glad I went with my gut, because of this stay we will probably use Hipcamp religiously! It was absolutely stunning inside the property with many different spots to sit outside and the outdoor shower was AMAZING. Couldn’t have more great things to say about anywhere I’ve ever stayed. I will hopefully be back!

Comfortable, lovely vintage

Wow, what a nice experience! So quiet, so private...the outside shower (I am swooning) ....the pillow top bed you melt into. We stayed until the very last minute...didn't want to leave. Tamarra has a flare for decorating and for making you feel comfortable and welcome. There was even a milk frother, French press and half and half in the fridge. Now really, this was too much!!!! Totally coming back!
