Swim in Tomales Bay 30 min, swimming hole creek 5 minThe birdhouse is located within an eco-community and a stone's throw from 3 other cabins housing friendly inhabitants. on one side we border a 200 acre forest with small creeks ( diminishing toward end Summer) , great for forest immersion and solitude, 55% slope and no trails ( you have endless hiking trails a 5 min drive or 10 min bike ride from here) . Birdhouse Cabin in Forest

Rustic Cabin with Gracious Host

I brought my two daughters and a friend to the Birdhouse. We hiked all over Point Reyes National Reserve but the kids had the most fun building forts and playing in the nearby stream bed at the cabin. Saskia was an accommodating host. The cabin fit the four of us fine, with the three girls upstairs and myself downstairs. We cooked multiple meals with no problems. We felt a long way from home in San Francisco, which was appreciated by all travelers, the adult and the children alike.
