Butterfly Landing: We are so delighted to share this spot with you. This is a shared campground with 3 separate spots that are relatively private. Host will not be there when you arrive unless prior arrangement made. This campground is yours to enjoy. The expectation is 'leave it better than before so the next guests may enjoy! This is camping. Bring your own gear. I can provide Linens for an extra $25 for glamping spots. Beds have pillow on them. There is wildlife. This includes bears and mountain lions in the area. You will not see either but good to be aware they exist. This is a safe 'neighborhood'. We do not have problems with thievery. However, always keep your valuables safe. There is no Power. No WiFi. Cell phone coverage not guaranteed. Depends on your carrier. There is Poison Oak. Stay in the designated areas. If you are susceptible, bring and wash with Tecnu. Most importantly: Don't Touch. No Fires allowed during Summer months. There is a Pet Fee of $25 per stay. You are responsible to clean up after your pet (if needed) and to make sure pet is safe and respectful to neighbors. We ask that guests clean up your camping spot upon departure to 'make the place better than before' for the next guests. More Details on the different spots Butterfly Landing is a sweet landing spot! Birds, butterflies and small wildlife love this spot. The habitat includes many native species of plant life. A pretty knoll that is on the top of a 40 acre property. Views of vineyards, redwood trees, valley floor, and expansive sky. Private, Quiet and beautiful. A central sunny meadow ties together 3 distinct private areas with a communal kitchen, bath-house, picnic-table sitting area and parking on the side. There is 1 outhouse, soon to be 2. Kitchen. 2 burner propane stove, and sink with running water (cold). (Good for drinking. Pressure is low) There is basic cooking and dishware. Cleaning supplies. A Trash and Recycle Bin. And a Compost 'hole' where all food scraps should be disposed of and then covered with wood-chips. Kitchen should stay clean at all times. Please put dishes away in the tote to keep clean and critter free. Bath-house. Shower with hot water. 1 shared Outhouse. Please use the path that goes to the outhouse (unless you are in the Greenroom) and make sure you put the mailbox red flag up so that others know it is occupied. ((Then don't forget to put it back down!!) Common sitting area. There are 2 picnic tables, Lots of umbrellas that can be moved wherever, a fire pit/table and lots of seating. Parking. There are room for 3 vehicles. Parking is to be in designated parking area please. Vineyard View tent area: You can park, unload right below site. Please do not drive down to Bluebell. There is a cart and wheelbarrow to bring gear down. Sunny meadow and forest shade make this a lovely landing spot to relax and enjoy nature, and a great opportunity to turn off those cell phones!! Butterfly Landing is about 1/2 mile from HWY 128 that runs through Anderson Valley. This location is the perfect location for it all. Wine tasting in the Valley, Navarro River swimming during the summer months, and the Mendocino coast is nearby. We offer 3 Unique Glamping/Camping choices and a separate vehicle camping area (This is a completely separate area and guests need to be fully independent). Bluebell is a Glamping Tent that sits on a beautiful deck with a unique porch with a built in dining 'table'. It's on the lower part of the Meadow. This is the most sunny spot, and the larger of the 2 spaces. Also the most private. Queen-sized bed. And a futon bed. fViews of the valley through the trees and a magnificent Bay tree nearby. The Green Room is a small sunny Room with a lovely outdoor semi-enclosed porch with a bar counter that can be used for dining. Custom built using recycled materials. The Green room sits at the top of the meadow, and is close to all of the facilities, but is relatively private. It's best for 2 people. But a tent could be set up next to cabin. The Vineyard View Tent Spot is a perfect area for setting up tents. Good for a family or group of friends. There is a sitting spot, a cot, and the view of the neighboring vineyard is beautiful. Up to 3 tents. Sunshine Landing is on another part of the 40 acre property. It is an enclosed fenced -in area. Close to Hwy. 128. Perfect for self contained vehicle campers that can be totally independent. This spot is big enough for 2 separate vehicles, or several if traveling together. There is water and rustic bathroom facilities (outhouse). No power or WiFi. Cell phone coverage depends on carrier. Pretty, sunny, and surrounded by trees. Perfectly flat. Good for vehicle camping. Smaller RVs and vans welcome. Perfect stopover spot if you are heading to the Coast.

The Green Room

The Green Room was comfy and cozy, with a nice porch, perfect for star gazing or relaxing in the sun. The outhouse was close enough (but not too close!), and the kitchen and shower were also conveniently located. The hosts have put lots of thought into making things comfortable and accommodating. The campground is in a clearing surrounded by tall trees and vineyards. Google maps tried to misdirect me for the final stretch of the trip there. After you turn off of Hwy 128, be sure to veer to the LEFT, (not to the right, which leads you directly onto a dirt driveway going down to the neighbors property). Continue to follow Kira’s written directions. I was glad to be able to stay there with my dog, and hope to return in the future.

The Green Room

We stayed in the Green Room and it was an absolute dream. We were lucky enough to have the entire spot to ourselves. Kira is so kind and helpful and her property is so gorgeous. We didn’t cook but the outdoor kitchen looked very nice. The outdoor shower was super nice as well. We would definitely love to come back and stay here and would recommend it for anyone staying in the area! Definitely watch out for poison oak!!

The Green Room

Clearing in the woods

Really charming, comfortable and quiet. We planned a trip to Mendocino and at the last minute I wanted to extend it by a day. Everything was booked but then I checked Hipcamp and found this place. It's set in a clearing in the woods. There's a vineyard nextdoor. We had a short but sweet stay. I'd definitely come back.

Bluebell Glamping Tent

Beautiful peaceful spot

We enjoyed our stay on Kira’s property. The bell tent is secluded and spacious and the bed was super comfy. Love the little deck and chairs on the platform of the bell tent. We used our own sleeping bags along with the bedsheets at night, which worked well for chilly nights. The kitchen was super helpful. The only thing I would change is that the hot water for the shower wasn’t working when we were there. Fabulous location in the Anderson Valley close to wine tasting, apple orchards, and swimming spots along the Navarro River.

Vineyard View Camping Spot

The campsite is beautifully nestled between towering redwoods and scenic vineyards, creating a perfect blend of nature and tranquility. The sites were spacious and private, with all the amenities you need, like a bathroom, shower, I loved how close it was to the coast. Plus, waking up to the sight of those majestic trees was incredible. Overall, it was a fantastic getaway, and I highly recommend it for anyone looking to relax in a stunning natural setting. Kira was so considerate. Had a great time.
