Beautiful off grid campground in the rural area of Modoc National Forest. We are located approximately 30 miles from the Oregon state line, 90 miles from Mt Shasta and there is plenty of activities here in Modoc National Forest. This site is completely off grid with no access to water or power. The property is almost 2 acres big and less then 15 mins from the city of Alturas. Although Alturas is a very small quiet town we have a few grocery stores, gas stations, and dollar generals. Plenty of land to explore, hikes to take and sights to see! Let the adventure begin!Pitch a tent or find a shady area to park on our rural residential campground. This site is completely off grid but we are in a small mountain neighborhood. Our land is almost 2 acres big and has a seasonal spring at the top of the property with beautiful city views. Modoc National Forest has plenty of activities but we are also a great mid point for those visiting Mt. Shasta. At C & A Campground we aim for our guest to have to the best adventures while staying with us. Autumn can help plan hiking trips and give travel advice for sites near by.
