Mountain View Lookout
Dale is a great host!
Dale was a terrific host. We had some (non-campsite) issues that occurred and Dale was very understanding and accommodating. I highly recommend Dale and his campsite. Thank you Dale!

Mountain View Lookout
Amazing views in Paso Robles!
We had a great time up at this beautiful remote location, which had amazing views and a good deal of space to utilize. Dale was very helpful and communicative with me, checking back to ensure we were able to get access from the gate. You won't need a 4-wheel drive vehicle but definitely expect a few bumps and some steep areas on the approach. It is a bit sun exposed in summer so if you can bring a canopy, it can help provide some cover. Would definitely head back!

Mountain View - Secret Spot
Stargazer spot
Dale’s campsite was a beautiful spot for star gazing and solitude. The views were incredible. It was a distance from downtown Paso Robles so be aware of that if want to go back into town.

Mountain View Lookout
Wine country camping at its best
Dale was a fantastic host and the Mountain View campsite has the most incredible views! There is service at the site but not so much on the drive up. Dale gave very easy directions (do not use Google Maps, even when you’re leaving). Saw wild turkeys and deer and enjoyed exploring the property. Lots of vineyards nearby but you’re also far enough away to feel like you’ve escaped civilization. The toilet was close by and very clean. Definitely adding to my favorites list. Thanks Dale!

Mountain View - Secret Spot
Relaxation is the key to happiness
The campsite was in the middle of nature. Completely off grid and the views were absolutely beautiful. A perfect destination to Completely unwind and reconnect with a camping partner or just enjoy the peace and quiet. We did get cell service in case of emergencies but enjoyed having it turned off.
