Come make yourself at home on our beautiful 10 acre property just up the road from the town of Mendocino. This site is only a 5 min drive to town, so it’s close to the beach, river access and local restaurants and shops.. Walk through the redwoods or enjoy the sunshine, the property offers a bit of it all! All we ask is that you make yourself at home!Pitch your tent under the redwoods, or in our lovely open area! Pick from one of our private zones nestled in the trees or the open space by our vertical Redwood carving! Large groups are welcome to book all 4 sites and have the property all to your selves. Enjoy the cool shade of the redwoods all while being in the sunbelt just 4.5 miles from town! The property has tons of hang out spots! Eat lunch over at the picnic tables, stare up at the stars at our moon gazing bench, or hang out in our communal outdoor living room (with seasonal couches) over by the campfire.. We also have an outdoor shower and kitchen sink area that are open to all. The property runs parallel with Mendocino state parks and has plenty of spots to explore! Our main goal is to make you feel at home! Some things to know; -Cell service is very spotty onsite. -There is one communal fire pit. -Please remember “ pack it in pack it out” We do our best to be good land stewards, please do the same. Camping in the Redwoods

Our family loved camping here. The campsites are spacious and it felt like we had enough separation from other campers. Our kids enjoyed exploring the property (frisbee golf was a hit) and we appreciated the shower. Nathaniel and Pearl were gracious hosts. We would definitely come back!

Camping in the Redwoods

I liked the convention location of this HipCamp to Mendocino and Fort Bragg. Nathaniel was very friendly, courteous, responsive to our needs. The camp site has disc golf, hammocks, FREE firewood, BBQ Weber, FREE bug juice, and a really cool outdoor shower and kitchen.

The campsites were all great and the location was easy to find. It’s a short ways out of town which is nice and nearby a ton of fun beaches!

Was exactly as described, except for the mosquitoes! They couldn’t be helped, though. Did not get to meet hosts but felt very welcomed there. The little orchard is awesome. 🤩

Great location with unexpected amenities that included a very nice gas BBQ and a great campfire area with plenty of firewood. Nathaniel advised us prior to our arrival that there were mosquitoes; however, there were plenty of cans of mosquito spray & other deterrents for our use. Another unexpected touch included throw blankets in the campfire area. We would definitely consider staying here again on our next trip to the Mendo area.

This was a great location and the hosts were very friendly, and the other guests were lovely and it was fun to hang out by the fire. However, there is a ’pond’ in the middle that didn’t seem to be stagnant as it didn’t have any drainage and so there were lots of mosquitoes. The host did provide mosquito repellent that really helped.
