All to yourself
96% of recent Hipcampers say this Hipcamp felt private.
From an old hydraulic mill, to an apple farm with a cider press, to a Wilderness Recovery Center for at-risk youth, our property has seen many great eras. After being neglected for over 20 years, we are trying to resurrect it to its full glory and incorporate the past into our property's future. Come stay on 192 epic acres of land now used as our home, and your perfect vacation location. Pitch your tent or camp in your vehicle on our beautiful 200 acre property with amazing views of the cascade mountains.  The campsite is located in an extremely private, heirloom Winesap apple orchard. It's great for tents, vans, campers, and small trailers. The site includes a private pit toilet, plastic table for cooking, 5 gallons of water for dishes, and a trash can. More sites coming soon! All guests will also have access to a flush toilet, game room, and the gym. Feel free to swim in our pond, or explore our property by hiking the 1 mile long Loop Trail, or the 1 mile (return) trail to see a beautiful view of Mt. Shasta! We currently do not have a guest shower, but you can rent a solar shower bag! Our property is near Burney Falls (25 min), Potem Falls (30 min), Lassen National Park (1 hour), Pit River, Hat Creek, Fall River, Iron Canyon Lake, McCloud Falls, Mt. Shasta, Shasta Lake, Lava Beds National Monument, and Medicine Lake.

Vineyard Yurt Glamping
The vineyard yurt was absolutely perfect. It had everything you could possibly need and was “home” away from home. Highly recommend!

Flexible and tons of activities
Super fantastic host. We had multiple schedule changes that turned into a lot of confusion. When we got that he gave us the full tour of all the amenities and things to avoid. Saw tons of deer, two foxes, bats, and geese. Beautiful property as well. Wish we had dedicated a whole day to just exploring the property. The game/gym room was awesome for kids. Definitely a place id like to come back to.

Vineyard Yurt Glamping
Loved staying at Vineyard Yurt Glamping! The property was beautiful! The yurt itself is tucked back in the vineyard, a little ways off the main property so it feels very private. Lucas was a great host - easy to work with and very responsive.

Wilderness Tent/Van Camping
Wilderness camping at its' best!
We felt warmly welcomed and comfortable on the beautiful property. It was just as described. We loved hiking the trails around the property- especially the one with a view of Mt. Shasta. It was stunning at sunset. Luke was kind and helpful. He went above and beyond to make sure our stay was memorable. We saw deer. foxes, many species of birds. The campsites are spacious and far away from the homes on the property so it felt quite private.

Vineyard Yurt Glamping
This place is amazing and very private. The yurt was clean and spacious. It was very windy the night we stayed but the wind didn't touch us. The wind just created a lot of sound which is expected. I definitely recommend.

Vineyard Yurt Glamping
Great hosts, comfortable bed!
The stay at Lucas's vineyard was amazing! There was so much thought in being able to have an outdoor space with the outdoor kitchen setup, the optional solar shower bag, the yurt, and the location of the yurt in the corner of the vineyard to get the most shade during the hot summer. There is also nice amenities around the camp include a pond to jump into, a game room, and nice hikes to see Shasta in the distance. Hosts were very welcoming and even provided us a bag of salad, because the nearby store on the way over had no vegetables. Wonderful Stay! Highly recommend!
