We are a family owned/operated ranch, located along the Cosumnes River, one of the last un-dammed rivers in California. As one of the last rivers flowing from the west slope of the Sierra without a major dam, the Cosumnes is a vital example of a healthy watershed. Our goal is to offer a unique outdoor experience for anyone looking for a place to spend time in the great outdoors. Whether you're looking for a single campsite, or a place for a larger gathering, we're excited to have you visit! Take your pick of activities available on site: swimming , gold panning, fishing, camp fires, wildlife watching, floating, hiking, and mountain biking to name a few. There are 3 miles of river to explore. Private and noise free. Porta potties on site.

We had a wonderful time taking our 4 year old to this campsite. What a beautiful river. The host was wonderful and inviting. We can’t wait to come back!

Site 19 Turtle Rock
Campsites 19 & 20
Thank you Rachael and Mike! We had a fantastic time at your ranch. We stayed in campsites 19 and 20. 19 had more open places for tents and your walk-in access to the river was much easier. 20 was more of a nested site. The access was more difficult than at the 19 site. Water depth this time of year was 3 to 5 feet. The flow was easy to manage, we easily padded up River and all around.

Site 20 Turtle Rock
Great Experience Camping.
We stayed at camp 19 and 20. Both sites were great! 19 has an easier access down into the water. As for campsites, both are nice, 19 has more tent space than 20. You see the stars before you go to sleep and you wake up to the sound of birds and the river flowing. You can spend quality time enjoying the countryside or floating in the river. Rachael was fantastic to communicate with regarding our reservation details. Tom, came and checked in with us several times. He was very friendly and courteous. Thank you, Susan

Site 10 - Rowan's Camp
Perfect riverside campsite!
We had an amazing time! We camped at site 10 which is a walk-in site. When we first arrived, I started to regret choosing the walk in site because it was hot and tiring to carry loads of things over to the site, but it turned out to be worth it! There were some families nearby at sites 7-9 but we could not see or hear them at all from where we were. The river in front of the site was beautiful and gets about waist deep. We brought floaties and rope and tied our floaties to a tree on the shore so we could relax and not float away down river. We also walked up river a bit and did a mini little float down the rapids! The site is a little slanted so if you're a sensitive sleeper, that might be a challenge but it didn't bother us. We explored the property and will definitely want to come back to stay at the cabins and the group site because they have bigger deeper swimming holes but the river is beautiful no matter where you're situated. This is my new favorite place to camp!

Site 16 - The Overlook
Amazing!!
Amazing campsite! So peaceful, well maintained, with incredible river access. The sites are huge and, while not totally secluded from other sites, have more than enough space between sites. Walk down to river from Site 16 is about 3 minues and pretty steep - would be very challenging with mobility issues. Better to choose other sites. Also worth bringing a 4WD car - the drive from the entrance to the sites is about 10 minutes on a rocky dirt road (but signage is very clear). Will 100% stay here again!!
