There is room to pitch a tent if you are traveling with more than two people. We are located 5 miles from historical Bridgeport covered bridge. The Rivers that flow underneath are majestic along with all the flowers along the hiking trails. There is plenty to do in our beautiful historical towns of Grass valley and Nevada city.  Nevada city and Grass valley are old gold mining towns with a lot of history to be told. From the historical sites like the Empire mine to the shops on broad street, to mountain biking and so much more the fun never ends. And don’t forget to check out our lakes and rivers while you’re visiting. The Yuba river is a site you don’t want to miss. The perfect glamping experience
Ashley's Yurt is absolutely beautiful. There was power, water and a working propane grill. There were a few kitchen items in the yurt to use. There is porter potty on site. My partner and I loved the animals on the property. There were two sweet dogs to hang out with during our stay. A perfect spot to take golden hour photos. My partner and I enjoyed laying out on the daybed and watching the sunset. After the sunset, we were able to relax in the yurt and play games with the stars above our heads. This was a beautiful glamping experience.

Nice secluded camping place (stars)
Ashley's place was nice and secluded. Pros: Ashley was quick to respond, friendly dogs on premises, beautiful stars (saw 5 shooting stars in a few hours), the barbecue was handy, the yurt was comfortable for 3 people (two on bed and one air mattress), really appreciated the sink. Few things to keep in mind: porta potty stank a lot, things (like barbecue) were unclean when we reached but Ashley was quick to respond and help clean them out, bring your own bedsheets / bedding, fire was not allowed when we came (which should have been mentioned in the booking as we wanted to do a bonfire), there were a decent number of spiders in the yurt. I would definitely return again because I personally don't mind these issues but good to know before hand and it's a must visit if just for the stars!

Great Yurt
This was a great experience! The yurt was clean and had some pots, knives, and utensils to use. It also had a gas grill that we used and worked great (the gas was provided). The owners were super friendly and responsive. The yurt was slightly closer to the main house than I had anticipated but was still very secluded.

We had a great time in Ashley’s sweet yurt! Even tho we just stayed for a night we felt right at home. We saw some shooting stars from the stargazing bed and saw a gorgeous sunrise. Ashley was super friendly and had some great recommendations. Location was divine. We’ll definitely be back!!
