What a fun trip and desert camping experience. The trailer was great, and I was able to walk around most of it without hitting my head (I'm 6'3) which was really nice. It was really close to Joshua tree park, and we recommend grabbing a bit at the Kitchen in the Desert and takin advantage of the fresh eggs from Patricia.

Perfect setting for solo travel
Amazingly beautiful spot, everything as described, and Patricia was really on top of everything. Perfect location to explore JTNP and its close to town of 29Palms & JT, but not toooo close. Felt quiet and serene. This was a magical place to watch sunsets and sunrises... no need to wake up extra early to chase views from within J Tree. The trailer has vintage charm... not a luxe restoration but it's serviceable and met all needs. Bonus: bought a dozen fresh eggs from Patricia's chickens... delicious breakfast every morning! Thanks and hope to be back

With kids
The site was cute, but it was chilly and windy so we didn’t make use of outdoor area, except the grill one evening, which worked great and even the ignitor switch works. Bed was comfortable. Farm fresh eggs were waiting for us, which was a nice offering. I liked having dishes & cookware and some basic oils and condiments available. I could not get the shower to work more than dripping. I was being mindful to not use more than one appliance at a time, but still blew the circuit with the heater plus coffeemaker on in the morning. Adding a sign on the heater that states “Do not use any other electrical appliances when in use” would be a good idea. Also, it needed a good vacuuming, as there was lots of dirt on the floor. And I’m really glad my son found the fake wooden snake before I came across it… JFC. I liked the location and would still recommend it to people wanting something warmer and more secure than a tent in the spring. Patricia was easy to reach, but I didn’t want to bother with figuring out the shower and we were all packed up when the circuit blew anyways.

The airstream was perfect for us! We liked the location being close to the North Entrance of the park, and it was perfect for hanging outside and stargazing and sleeping after a day of hiking. We also liked the coffee shop/bar Mas o Menos nearby. Patricia was also very responsive and takes great care of her airstream.

superb stargazing site!
Such a cozy spot for anyone looking for a memorable trip to the desert. The lodging had everything you could ask for- hot water, utilities, and great vibes. The outdoor enclosed space made stargazing comfortable and relaxing. We will definitely be returning!

This was my first time staying in a vintage camper and it was pretty cool. Definitely warmer than a tent for sure! Patricia was friendly and helpful. Her instructions for getting there were very good and I didn't have trouble finding the place even in the dark.
