The Eagles Nest- Mountain Cabin
Granite Mountain was the everything I had hoped for in a quiet solo retreat. In-cabin sink & mini fridge, cooking set-up (just bring your own oil/spices), cafe-lighted picnic area, heated blanket for cold nights. Waking up with the sun and watching the sky change from bed was amazing. The only thing I wished for was a plug-in kettle so I could make coffee without leaving the warm nest (I visited late November)! As others have noted, it is an uphill but short walk from parking to the cabin. Ken was friendly and provided great detailed communication by phone and text. Thank you for a beautiful stay!

The Eagles Nest- Mountain Cabin
A Cozy and Romantic Escape
The views were incredible and the place was impeccable. So many sweet and simple details that made it a pleasant and romantic getaway for our anniversary. The tiny cabin was tucked away and felt secluded. Beautiful lighting for dinner outdoors and a fireplace to break the evening chill. We really enjoyed coffee on the front deck each morning. An easy drive to the local Temecula Olive Oil company, hiking trails. Temecula wineries or even Julian. Thank you Ken!

Wonderful time in nature
I really loved the view and the cabin was so cute! My dogs loved being able to be leash free and walk around. I would definitely go back but I will bring my own towels the next time.

The Eagles Nest- Mountain Cabin
Cool spot with privacy away from the main house. Great to stay on clear days. Has a propane firepit, gas stove with gas provided, some utensils. Sink was a big convenience. Space fits more comfortably for one person or for a tight knit couple. They also added in a mini fridge but unfortunately it makes so much noise you won’t get a wink of sleep. The pillows are also really uncomfortable. Check in instructions weren’t given until the last minute
