Hermitage Camp
Owners are super friendly and welcoming! Pool, hot tub and sauna are a nice feature. Camping is primitive, so don't expect a manicured / cleared site with table. We camped on the lower level by the barn in our truck camper. Ground is very sloped...be prepared to level out your truck or sleeping situation. Excellent views of Anderson Valley.

Hermitage Camp
Beautiful views - Dumpy Property
The view from the property is lovely, but that is literally the only thing truthful about the description, which is extremely misleading and inaccurate, making the high nightly fee basically thievery. There are multiple piles of rotting junk, rusting equipment, ancient hay bales, etc., some covered with huge black tarps. All buildings, roads, fences, gate, pool, etc are in disrepair and dirty. Because land maintenance had clearly been deferred for far too long, noisy weed whacking was happening all over the property, sending dust and dry grass into the air. There were people in cars, trucks and motorcycles coming and going late at night and early morning and the only place to park our trailer was literally on the edge of the dirt road, no place to set up even a camp chair. There was someone living in a metal storage building 6 feet from our “site”. The owner said she didn't expect us to have a trailer, yet we made that clear on our registration and is also part of our profile. In spite of the description, this place is DEFINITELY unsuitable for a trailer of any length, there is no place to turn around.
We made the decision on the first night to get up early and leave as we felt so uncomfortable and borderline unsafe. We’ve been to several Hipcamps and had wonderful experiences but this was awful given the description that did not align with reality at all and the high fee. We asked for a refund, but were denied and Hipcamp said they couldn't do anything about it. :(

Hermitage Camp
Great Camping Spot. Really loved the Hottub setup overlooking the hills. And you can also do a wine tasting as an add on. As we were the first to visit, the campsites were still being setup but 4.5 stars from my side.
