Jug Handle Creek Farm and Nature Center is a nonprofit with a five minute walk to Jug Handle State Reserve, Jug Handle beach and the Ecological Staircase trail. We offer 11 unique campsites with plenty of space and privacy. Each site has two picnic tables, a fire ring, parking for two cars and plenty of space for your tents. We also offer three lovely cabins, which have power and access to a shared kitchen and bathroom with a hot shower. Our 33 acres include a native plant nursery, community gardens, forests, meadows, and nature trails. Our site has lots of nature trails, is peaceful and beautiful and just a 5-minute walk to Jug Handle Beach and the Jug Handle Preserve. Our Mission: We offer a welcoming and supportive environment for people of all backgrounds to explore nature and connect with the natural word. Nature stewardship is central to our non-profit mission and as an organization we are engaged in many nature restoration projects throughout Mendocino County. We also provide a supportive learning environment for nature education for disadvantaged youth during the school year. #8 - Woodland's hangout

The location is really good and the place nice, but the toilets are portable and they were really dirty after the first day. A group was partying with loud music after silent time and we didn't see anyone responsible of the place in three days. The place has great possibilities but right now it has things to improve.

#3 - Grandma's Wild Woods

Family camp

We've camped at Jughandle several times. We like that there is lots of space between sites no one is blasting their music sonits quiet. , This site has a big sunny grassy area and shade in the afternoon. Clean porta potty, firewoood and water available, Easy to moderate hiking thru lovely woods and to beach. Close to Mendocino and Ft Bragg activity.

Great campsite

Great campground, the sites were a little closer together than expected but we lucked out and did not have any camp neighbors. Porta potty’s were the cleanest I have ever seen so that was a plus, and easy dishwashing in the sink at the group campsite next to us! We walked a couple of the trails in the woods and they were beautiful, our dog loved playing fetch in the big field next to our site. Great easy walk to jug handle beach which was lovely and nice to not have to get back in the car to get there :-) would definitely stay again.

Super chill campsite. Firepits have little grills. Outdoor kitchen area has tables near the sink. Portapotty for campers. Nice trails nearby.
