Good stay. Bring your own shade.
Overall a good stay at this campsite.
Pros: centrally located for outdoor activities in Weed and Mt Shasta areas; fairly easy to access with little/no train or road noise; great view of Shasta from all campsites; fairly private (only 3 sites spaced widely apart, but no visual barriers)
Cons: no shade; sparse amenities for the price. Basically is a place to park with a picnic table and access to a porta-john and water spigot.

Exceeded our expectations
We loved camping at Patricia’s place! We stayed in site #2 and honestly it exceeded our expectations! We just needed a spot to stay during our road trip but did not expect such a beautiful place. Amazing views of Mt. Shasta and the valley all around. The site itself had a nice fire pit (although fires are not allowed at this time) and a comfortable picnic table. There is a porta potty a short walk away that was clean. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone considering staying.

Patrice was quick to reply and helpful. Her land is absolutely gorgeous and conveniently off the 97. Stayed one night on my way up to Oregon. I would highly recommend it.

What an amazing property. The views and wildflowers (bright purple) are magical. We came on a perfect night with little/no wind and clear night skies. Patrice was communicative and keeps the property tidy and welcoming. Highly recommend!!

Great views, my trip was just a one nighter. I wanted to take pictures of the Milky Way over Mt Shasta and this was perfect. I was not close to other campers and great dark sky with Mt. Shasta looming, beautiful
