Welcome to our A-Frame Nolla Cabins at the doorstep to Yosemite! Lillaskog, meaning "Little Forest" in Swedish, is a large property tucked away overlooking Stanislaus National Forest. Our property is conveniently located off Highway 120 and 15 minutes outside of the entrance to Yosemite National Park. While amenities such as the town of Groveland, restaurants, and gas stations are nearby (15 minutes away), you will truly feel like you are off the beaten path at this campsite. Featuring our A-Frame cabins in partnership with Nolla from Finland, sleep on a comfy mattress on a bed looking out through a floor-to-ceiling window where you may see deer grazing nearby, cedar and pine trees, and big sky with stars at night. Each cabin has a picnic table outside, a Yeti cooler of water, as well as clean composting toilets. Hot showers are available across the road at our sister property!

Cabin 2

Yosemite and More

Staying in these cabins made for such a fun Yosemite weekend. We came during a heat wave, hiked around Yosemite all morning and by the time we were headed to the campsite, we were in need of a shower and some relaxation, which is just what this place provided. I've camped at Yosemite and even done day trips in the past, but nothing quite compares to getting to shower after hiking all day and spending the night in one of these gorgeous cabins, sheltered from the elements and still getting to enjoy the view + the stars at night. Liza and Tom were incredibly responsive and helpful. The composting toilets were clean, and the ice water was really nice to have while we were there, especially as we were trying to cool off. These cabins do get hot, but I know the hosts are working on a solution for these 90-100 degree weekends. I appreciated having my 4 wheel drive as the road to cabin 2 and 3 has it's inclines. If you're nervous, cabin 1 is much closer to the road. Lastly we visited Rainbow Pool just a minute down the road before we headed back to the city and it was such a nice swim stop to end our weekend!

Cabin 1

Gorgeous cabin in an amazing location!! Less than an hour from the entrance to Yosemite and in very secluded and lovely forest. Amazing Hosts who are very responsive and helpful. The architecture of this cabin is very cool and so fun to experience. One thing to note is they do get quite hot - Liz and Tom are working on a good solution but if it's going to be hot definitely check in with them on plans (I'm sure they'll share as well).

Cabin 2

Some thing a little bit different with awesome view out of the cabin, feels secluded and not too far from Yosemite National Park. Host was really easy to deal with and prompt in responding. Would definitely stay again.
