Learn more about this land: River status: flowing! Camp on our small piece of paradise located near Yosemite. We are a family of 5 (me, my husband, our two toddlers and our dog, River) living on 5 acres of mountain land in the foothills of the Sierras complete with an outdoor shower and bath and also flowing (seasonal) stream that you can swim in. Feel free to wander around the property on a few of our trails or just chill by the water and enjoy the magic of the mountains. Our property is about a 45 min drive to the Yosemite entrance. Dogs are more than welcome as long as they are ok with our dog wandering around. He’s super sweet loves everybody.River status: Flowing! Ask about joining your host for a Wim Hof experience! Feel free to wander around the property on a few of our trails or just chill by the water and enjoy the magic of the mountains. Yosemite is accessible via two directions from our home: Hwy 41 - via Oakhurst (50 mins) or Hwy 140 - via Mariposa (55 mins). Hwy 140 is the fastest route to the Valley which is where the main attractions are. The Valley is an additional 15 mins from the park entrance. Hwy 41 is the fastest route to Badger Pass ski resort, Glacier Point, Mariposa Grove, and Wawona. Access to the Valley via this direction is an additional hour from the park entrance. Dogs are welcome as long as they are ok with other dog's and children wandering around.

Little Piece of Yosemite

Christians property was among the most beautiful we’ve had the chance to stay at. Great communication through the whole experience. Beautiful, comfortable & accessible site for our 20’ Airstream & tow vehicle. Don’t overlook this listing without checking the pics of the outdoor shower & bathtub. Close to Yosemite Park entrance, beautiful drive in. We hope to stay here again in the future.

Christian’s land is very remote and offers amenities of a tub that fits two as well as an outdoor shower! The land is spacious and comfortable and the nature is beautiful. Christian is an incredibly gracious host who cooperated with our arrival and went above and beyond to share which hikes in the Yosemite park are worth it! He and his sons are awesome, and we are very grateful that we got to connect!! 10/10 recommend this site!

Little Piece of Yosemite

We booked this site for one night, however we left soon after arriving. First of all, it was quite a distance from Yosemite. It was confusing when we arrived because we weren’t certain of the parking situation. We were able to speak with a handyman who was working on the property, and then found our spot. We did contact a person at the main house, who was also renting and he showed us the bathtub/shower area. The path getting to this area was a bit rough, so anyone with balance issues may have problems. At the picnic table, the previous guests had left two bags of garbage and coffee. We disposed of their garbage. Given the temperature of the day (100+ degrees) in October, we found the situation distressing, so we left and continued our trip heading out to the ocean. We wish we would have read a previous review who had expressed issues. This site would work for those folks who want a spot in this area. We are thankful that the handyman and renter were there when we arrived, otherwise we would have had more unanswered questions.
