The Dromedary Guest House
We stayed at "the Dromedary" cabin, which offered a beautiful, nearly 360 degree view of the mountains. The interior design had high ceiling for great natural lighting, and amenities included several appliances for convenient meal prep. AC unit worked great! Our entire group, ages ranging from 5.5 y.o. to senior, all got to learn for the first time what a "dromedary" is, up close, on our hike through the property -- very cool being approached by one and seeing several graze our resting by the road. Our cabin also had the peaceful luxury of being a short distance from the llamas, alpacas, mules, vicunas

Great stay when hiking Mt. Pinos!
We really enjoyed our time at the Lone Juniper Ranch! The little cabin was perfect for us, and the views were amazing! We enjoyed the farm fresh eggs, our fire at night and feeding all the animals carrots! It was hard to leave! Sad about the relentless flies hurting the animals eyes though… wish there was someway to help them!

A Camelid Camp Away!
Lone Juniper Ranch is a beautiful serene adventure campground close to some beautiful hikes. Our host had everything we needed to camp with our trailer. The animals are amazing.

The Canyon Bobcat
I recently visited this camping destination with my little kids, and we all had an amazing time. The highlight for my children was feeding the animals; they absolutely loved it. The cowboy working there was incredibly friendly and sold us some carrots for the animals and firewood. He took the time to explain the differences between the llamas, which was both educational and fun for the kids.
The land itself is beautiful, offering picturesque views and a serene atmosphere. It's also conveniently located, being easy to find and close to the highway. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we can't wait to visit again!

Tent camp
We tent camped and the experience was like no other. It was fun getting to feed and watch the camels by our site. My kids loved feeding the mules, Lammas and camels. That was the highlight of our trip.
The downfall was there are no trees around. It’s all grassland. It did make some some gorgeous sunsets though. A lot of bugs, so expect to bring home some critters too. Came home with a lot of earwigs and spiders on my equipment.
Needlesss to say, I would book again and stay in one of their cabins.
Nice and friendly host.

Very good
Everything went very well. Direction were very well detailed to make sure we arrive at the correct location. The view is really nice, far from everything and peaceful. Camel were just next to us and we would enjoy some times with them. In the morning we went to pick some farm fresh eggs and our daughter patiently waited for the chicken to finish. Everything was perfect. The site is well maintained with table, games and bbq. Thanks
