Although the host was very helpful getting us situated on their wifi, the site was anything but level and the wind was howling constantly. The trees were not cut back far enough for us to get in and out of the property without snagging on our camper. The views were pretty but the wind made it uncomfortable for us to enjoy except from inside. Grading the lot would help but unfortunately, there's nothing to be done about the wind.
I loved the site; open views of the sky, perfect for viewing a meteor shower. David was a kind and helpful host, I would return for another camping trip!
Our family recently stayed at David’s hipcamp and had a great experience. Before arriving David was quick to respond with very specific directions, which was super helpful. We came in late at night and David came out to guide us.
The location is super close to shops and restaurants. While here we rented a car and headed into Pasadena. We left our rv parked and felt completely safe and comfortable leaving the rv. This is a great location if you’re looking for a place to park your rv while you head into the city.
This is the perfect spot for a camper van, or smaller rv. We are 28 feet and it was a little tight getting into the gate and turning around. This spot would be kind of tricky with a pull behind camper. The spot is a little uneven, but nothing a few boards can’t fix.
We would definitely recommend this spot to others passing through! We hope to come back and stay again!
