Reid Ranch is located in North County less than 10 miles from the beach. You will have your own site with a private fire pit uniquely placed in the natural Granite rocks. Your experience will be one of a kind. We are in the city so this is not a remote location but the area has a remote feel. So many activities near by. Close to numerous breweries and great wineries. I have lived in San Diego for over 30 years so I can give recommendations to the best of what San Diego has to offer. Downtown is a 45 minute drive or you have access to the train nearby. We have 2 hold tubs that can be added on that over look the coast. Located in the Mar Vista Valley only eight miles from the Pacific Ocean. We enjoy the best weather in the world. The ocean breeze along with gorgeous sunsets adds to the experience. Our private fire pit nestled in the granite boulders is truly one of a kind. We hope you come experience our slice of heaven for yourself soon.Located in the Mar Vista Valley only eight miles from the Pacific Ocean. We enjoy the best weather in the world. No thank you.
It was like pitching a tent in someone’s backyard and with neighbors looking on. And using their occupied trailer for a bathroom (minus the TP) which it states to only use TP that is provided.

An amazing little campsite nestled amongst the rocks. Beautiful sunsets in what felt like a secluded setting, but just outside of town. The hosts were helpful and hospitable and my kids loved saying hello to the pig!

Reid Ranch was a great place to stay with adventurous kids! Mine loved climbing the boulders and taking in the views. The hosts were so kind and welcoming. We loved the convenience of the sink set up, and the grill would be perfect for campers that don’t want to bother with bringing their own cooking gear.

What a great spot and great hosts. We loved the location, easy highway access, and felt secluded but was close to everything. Our hosts were friendly and warm, but not intrusive at all. We would be glad to camp again and highly recommend. One note: If you are sensitive to noise, bring ear plugs. This is an 'in the city' camping experience. You will hear traffic and people and roosters! :) Nothing, too crazy.

Reid Ranch
Overall, it was a really cute spot and the host was really nice. Unfortunately, on the night we booked, we heard neighbors playing music and loud motorcycles in the distance, so we decided to leave at 1 AM. I thought the campsite was in a remote area, but it's actually in a residential area. I should've checked beforehand. The location is really convenient though.
