Come enjoy the peaceful outdoors in a rustic mountain setting ! But still have all the amenities of town only a couple miles away; grocery store, restaurants, a craft brewery and one of the oldest saloons in California! There’s even a park for the kiddos, a Library and Museum for all ages! The stars are something to see, as you feel like you can just reach up and touch them! We are just getting started so each time you come visit us, you will see and enjoy something new! We are so close to Yosemite @ the big old flat entrance or maybe you would like to see Hetch Hetchy! There is river rafting, mountain biking, swimming and fishing all close by! Lots to do in our area it will be hard to choose! When you’re on the property keep your eye out for shiny rocks, as we are located on an old gold mine who knows you may “GET LUCKY“

Tom and Debbie were so welcoming! I arrived pretty late but they showed me where to park. The stars were wonderful. Me and my pup had a great time before we finished our drive to Yosemite in the morning

We had a short but very sweet one night stay. This was such a magical spot with the most welcoming, communicative friendly hosts with the cutest dog too! They weren't joking about bringing bug spray though

Adorable, Not too far from Yosemite
Affordable and fairly close to Yosemite. Slightly more than an hour to Tunnel View. It was quiet and private, unlike the campgrounds we saw inside Yosemite which were stuffed and crowded. The hosts were very kind and greeted us no matter what time we checked in. Make sure to bring bug spray at the campsite and in Yosemite.

Peaceful and Convenient
Tom and Deborahs land is beautiful, we fell asleep to crickets and frogs both nights, and could see so many stars. We are pretty introverted so we appreciated the slight selection of the site we were at, (2) and that it was very quiet, no traffic or music or anything like that, just birds, kids playing and occasional barking from their very sweet dogs, that, to me, sounds like a home ☺️ We went all over, from Yosemite to Columbia to Sonora, and appreciated that our site was very centrally located to all of that. Only about an hour to Yosemite or Sonora so we had our pick. I would also recommend Priest Station for breakfast, such a beautiful view of the rolling hills, great food and only about 5 minutes from camp. Oh! Also I've got to say I was impressed with the Porta-Potty! You can see how often they get it serviced, very clean, and when we ran out of paper towels at the little wash station, they were restocked without even having to ask. We very much enjoyed our trip and highly recommend this spot. 🥰

Yosemite Base Camp Rocks
I highly recommend the Yosemite Base Camp; the place to stay while visiting Yosemite National Forest., Tom and Debbie go out of their way to make sure everyone who stays at their Campground is taken care of. The community campfire is a great place for all to hang out, family and dog-friendly. We had a very nice time and looking forward to going back to the Yosemite Base Camp in the future. Many thanks to Tom and Debbie. David, Jeanelle our son Levi, and our two dogs Thor and Xena
