You can pick veggies, or fruit from our large garden. Or sneak a couple of eggs from our chickens. I usually have a loaf of organic naturally leavened bread to purchase. There is a walk down the hill to a tunnel under the highway that takes you to a small pond above the ocean. Many creeks and remote walks.Re-wild yourself. Handmade Cob cabin, solar lights, with a beautiful outdoor shower and outhouse. Camp stove and sink for tea and coffee use . Bring your own pots, dishes and silverware approx. 1/4 of a mile above the ocean. You can hear the seals and waves., incredible dark night skies. There are many walks without getting in your car, or drive either direction to restaurants, stores, beaches and rivers. Herbs and veggies are available from the farm. In the fall you are welcome to harvest some fruit to eat off our one hundred fruit trees. Fires are restricted.

The Cob House was lovely! Surrounded by beautiful land and the ranch itself was amazing and full of life (and very very sweet cats!). A great place for some true peace and quiet. I would definitely return. Katie was a great host as well!

We loved staying at the Cob House! Katie thought of everything and we were very comfortable. I wish I could take that shower home with me, let alone the view from the bed.

Great stay
Just exactly as stated, escape from it all at Roseman’s Ranch. We got in late and we had amazing canopy of stars dark skies and could hear the seals and ocean nearby! The cabin was cozy and warm, felt very safe. Loved the hot shower, with fern and jade at my feet. Very relaxing.

The Cob House - Farmstay 40 acres
The Cob House was very adorable. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t the best but luckily the structure with the bed kept us dry and the bedding and small wall heater kept us very warm. We did discover that the check-in information on hipcamp stated 2 but we found out it’s actually 4. Katie was great about working with us when we arrived early and was a great host.

Serene, enchanting, magical
We had an incredible stay at Cob House! The tiny bedroom building was cozy and warm at night in April. We cooked in the outdoor kitchen and made use of the outdoor shower and outhouse! Get ready for something between camping and "glamping". We went to Cooks Beach and hiked out at Point Arena, where you can pay $5 to go to the top of the lighthouse. p.s. my boyfriend proposed up there, so we'll definitely be back! It was a beautiful, zen, off -the-grid few days spent at Katie's. She's also just a kind, lovely human being, which always makes an experience so much better.

Relaxing Retreat
We spent a lovely couple of nights at Katie's cob cabin. The cabin is situated in such a serene setting with the sound of the ocean nearby, and you can explore some great walking paths without needing your car. Katie herself is incredibly welcoming and accommodating, which added to the overall fantastic experience. The cabin remains comfortably cool even on hot days, providing a peaceful night's sleep. Our dog was as pleased with the stay as we were! If you're looking for a peaceful off-grid break, Katie's cob cabin comes highly recommended.
