Creature comforts
Enjoy the comforts of home at some sites—including flush toilets, showers, and a kitchen.
As you enter into our little oasis, you'll see why we want to share the space. It is a great environment to get away from the city or pass through on your road trip. The driveway enters down to our creek-side camping where a hammock under a tree awaits a quiet reader or a bird watcher. We have multiple species of song birds. It's just a 30 minute drive to the beach, or mountains, a short walk to the neighborhood park- equipped with a playground, or a five minute drive to a local ecological reserve containing multiple trails. If you'd like to hang out on the property, we offer a table and chairs with each campsite to lounge in while enjoying the fresh air and nature. In addition, we have a propane-powered fire pit, an outdoor kitchen with full amenities, including, hot water, a two burner stove, a toaster oven and a BBQ area. The bathroom now includes a flush toilet, sink and shower. Fun Fact: Harbison Canyon was named after John Stewart Harbison - aka the King of the Bee Keepers. He arrived with over one hundred colonies of bees in 1874 and within 7 years he became the worlds largest honey producer. Today there are just a few bees in the area.

Sleep with the beautiful sound 🐸
My husband and I visit Sarah land during Father's day weekend. We enjoyed her quiet land. Love the outside kitchen. But further more enjoy the night sounds of the frogs.Very clean environment and Sarah was very kind to accommodate us to last minute needs.

Great stay with good amendities. There is a mini fridge, sink, trashcan, hot plate, toaster and lots of seating. Full bathroom. The night was loud with frogs and the waterfall was a shallow creek. Not as private as I expected. You set up in front of their house.

Honeycomb Cabin
I rented the lovely cabin in the back of the property. The mountain views and landscape were absolutely stunning!! I took many pictures on an afternoon walk and even had a pair of hawks come to visit. The bed was extremely comfortable. The sound of the trickling stream and frogs melted me away into a revitalizing sleep. This property has tranquil and loving Ora. You feel it instantly as soon as you arrive. It was just what I needed to recharge myself. I will definitely be a repeat guest!! Thank you!

Peaceful
Nice bathroom, quiet creek spot, we got in late and tried to stay quiet because there were lots of campers! The cabin looks neat and the hammock under the oak at the top is tops!

Hawks Nest Campsite
Overall my family and I had a good experience, but we were misled by the shade. The summary said it was shaded all day, and that was not the case, it was blasted by sun 90% of the day. Which isn’t normally an issue, if we’d known we’d taken our canopy for shade. But because the summary said it was fully shaded we didn’t take it and were fully exposed. Laura did let us borrow her easy-up, but she then left and the easy up didn’t have a tarp on it, so we were in the same boat. I messaged her about it (along with another question) and never got a reply. I understand it was a Saturday night but it was a little annoying to not get a reply from her at all. We ended up wandering down to the bottom near the creek where there was shade and that was fine and we really enjoyed our time there, just not at our campsite. I think it’s a lovely place to stay, the summary just needs to be updated so guests can be properly prepared.

Creekside Campsite
We stayed two nights with our kids (age 5 & 2) and honestly it was perfect. Exactly the first family camping trip we needed to test the waters a bit. Having a bathroom, shower and all the kitchen stuff we needed made life so easy. The frogs are very loud but we enjoyed all parts of the adventure! There’s a playground walking distance and the area all together is very beautiful.
