Our homestead is nestled within the breathtaking beauty of Santa Cruz County. Staying here offers a glimpse into the ongoing operations of a modern, small footprint homestead.. Our close proximity to the iconic Pacific Coast Highway (PCH), Capitola Village and Santa Cruz ensures you're moments away from the majestic views of the vast ocean, surfing, exploring, dining and entertainment. Regarding your camper -- please be sure your camper / RV / Campervan / motor home has a toilet. County regulations require a toilet to stay here. Also, our property can only accommodate hardshell campers / RV's / Sprinter type vans. Sprinter's with a pop-up for sleeping are fine. If you have a trailer, please have the requisite skills to back your trailer into a space 10 feet wide. Whether you're a nature enthusiast, a lover of fresh produce, or someone seeking a peaceful and safe overnight space, our homestead offers a delightful experience. We invite you to come and stay with us and experience the simple pleasures that our homestead has to offer. Our picturesque homestead is not only a tranquil retreat but also a haven of activities that cater to all kinds of outdoor enthusiasts. If you prefer land-based activities, the area boasts numerous hiking trails, each offering breathtaking vistas and a chance to reconnect with nature. We're also conveniently located near some of the finest wineries in the region. Spend an afternoon wine tasting, soaking in the beautiful vineyard views while sampling a diverse selection of local wines. Within the bounds of our homestead, you can amble through our expansive gardens, relishing the sights, sounds, and smells of the season. Depending on the time of year, you may have the opportunity to harvest a variety of fruits, vegetables, flowers, and herbs. Experience the joy of picking fresh raspberries straight from the bush or plucking a ripe, juicy apple from a tree. Animal lovers will delight in interacting with our friendly chickens. Feed them, watch their playful antics, or even participate in the rustic joy of gathering freshly laid eggs. In the spirit of true relaxation, our homestead also invites you to enjoy moments of pure tranquillity. Lounge on the lush grass, bask in the California sunshine, or find a quiet spot to delve into a good book. Perfect in every aspect
Our GPS through RV Life took us past Markus' house, so we had to retrace our steps. Google maps is spot on. The space available looked quite small, but in fact there was plenty of room for our 24' Itasca Navion AND we were able to put the slide out! The front of the property is very welcoming - clean & tidy with a pretty front yard - yet it really gives little indication of what lies in the backyard!!! An absolute work of art, full of plants and produce of all sorts of shapes and sizes... a delight to the senses! Marcus was a great communicator, very thoughtful and friendly...unfortunately we never had the pleasure of meeting him in person. The location is superb if you're traveling Hwy 1/101 AND convenient to checking out Santa Cruise. We downloaded an audio driving tour from Get Your Guide, and had a little user error at the beginning, but ended up enjoying it and appreciating how much we saw that we would not have otherwise known about... it cost me $4!! We hadn't originally planned to stop in Santa Cruz, but had to have some work done on our RV, which necessitated the stay. Very happy to have found Markus and his little piece of paradise! Would definitely stay again if we come back.

Central for Cruz
Fantastic location; a bike ride away from Capitola and Santa Cruz. Normally when traveling up and down Cali I try to stay at a HarvestHost as I dont need full hook-ups for one night (with onboard power and water) but it was a luxury to have wifi and all the mod cons. Its a little right to back into if you have a camper trailer (normally I don't) and remember to have your sewer cal "lock key" to get the cap off... I didn't!

Not a Farm
We arrived to find that this was really just someone’s drive, and is not in any way private due to the fact it’s on a normal residential street. The name “farm” is slightly misleading. If you have an RV or larger campervan, it would be okay, but if you need to cook and eat outside (like us in our small VW) it doesn’t make any sense. Nice area, and fine if you’re a couple just wanting to park and bed down, but if you have kids or want any level of privacy, this isn’t the spot. We ended up not staying at all and heading to a hotel. It was a shame, since we wanted to camp and could have gone elsewhere if the photos and description was a little more transparent.
