This place is truly amazing - at sunset, it feels absolutely magical! The site is a short walk from town, so you can easily explore Mount Shasta. The tall trees and plants around the property make it feel totally private, and you have your own little oasis. The mountain views are stunning, and the property has everything you could need - port a potty, showers, a sink, and more. I definitely recommend this place!

Can’t wait to go back!
The view of Mt Shasta to the northeast and Mt Eddy to the west was unbeatable. Nice to be in town and able to enjoy all the restaurants and shops. The property was lush with veggies and flowers next to parcel of land left for animals to take refuge. Only drawbacks was the proximity to the train tracks which one can hear despite where they stay in town. Ali is making improvements and I need to go back next year to see what he’s done.

Convenient to town and has a gorgeous view of Mt. Shasta. But with the convenience you trade off in privacy. Large freight trains pass right by the property. And the night we were there, a couple of vagrants were walking along the tracks arguing loudly. It didn’t feel the most safe or private for us.

In town
The host, Ali, is welcoming and kind. It is a large yard with places to set up your tent. (Besides the teepee option) There is an area with a kitchen set up, refrigerator, counters, skink, stove...Ali will plug in the refrigerator upon request. Showers as well, he'll show you how to turn on the gas for it to be warm. The dilemma is it is right next to the loud train...however, in the state park I was at the following night, I heard the train from there as well.

Teepee Lounge
Staying at the teepee lounge was an incredible experience. The sunset was incredible and the view was to die for. The campsite was super conveniently located walking distance from town but it felt nestled away in your own private paradise. There were also showers, a sauna, and blowup hot tubs for us to use to warm up after jumping in the lake down the street. It felt like a luxurious clamping experience. There was also a full kitchen and fridge which was so helpful. The host was super kind and accommodating and gave us great recommendations for stuff to do nearby. He suggested we go to the lake and a nearby coffee shop and both recommendations were so appreciated. I loved this experience and camp site so much, I can't wait to come back one day!
