Walk-in Tent Site
Very nice campsite with many amenities. Weather was perfect and although we didn't go with children, different activities was available making the property ideal for families so would highly recommend.

Cozy Cabin 10 called "Garland Ranch
We enjoyed our time at SMR. The cabin could have been cleaner though. Other than that great stay.

Would definitely come back!
Saddle Mountain Ranch was a great place to camp with my friends! Staff was friendly, directions to campsite were clear, and the entire layout of the place was clean and easy to navigate. Would definitely come back to stay again!

Partial Hookups Tent Site W/E
We had site #37 on one of the ledges. It felt like we had our own privacy and also easy access to the amenities. Drew was very hospitable and accomodating and made us feel very welcome. A heads up, when booking through hipcamp - the platform doesnt distinguish between an RV site and tent site. The RV sites would have felt very exposed for tent camping but are great for RVs. Id just advise to make sure youll get one of the tent sites higher up so you dont end up with an RV site for your tent. I cant speak for the host but i imagine theyll be pretty upfront, responsive and accomodating if you communicate with them well in advance that youd specifically like a tent site instead of one of the RV sites. Lastly, i want to highlight again that the amenities are really well done

Glampers Only!
I understand advertising on an app could have additional fees for the owners of a campground, but passing those on to the campers and having a f**** you attitude about it sucks. I wont be returning. I spoke to the man (no name, idk who he was even) who posted these prices about it in the morning because I had made a mistake with my booking, and the price tag of $430 for only 2 nights at a walk up campsite sounded wrong - I had paid it because I accidentally selected the wrong site thinking I was selecting something else. Instead of being baseline polite I was shouted down, "YOU paid for this, YOU should have double checked." Fair, but saying something like "Now you know better for next time." Instead of offering an upgrade if I paid the difference was rude. The price on this app is $70/night (base); on their own booking website it is $55/night (base). The walk up sites are also described as being dispersed - they are practically on top of each other, no matter which site and how much you pay; cabins too. So you will literally hear every time someone farts or coughs. The way fees are posted for pets on the app isn't as clear as their own website; I thought the pet fee was only $5 per the description, and that when I moved through the booking process it would only add $15/2nd pet/night.It is $30/night per pet. If you have kids or aren't planning on adventuring in big sur it's got everything you need and WAY more, but if you like calm secluded camping in nature this is isnt it.

Did not get the site that Hipcamp showed on our reservation. Very disappointed. There were a few other couples & families who were also disappointed like us. Although staff couldn't do much to change our site, they were very friendly. The grounds were nice. Clean bathrooms and plenty of space to lounge around on comfy furniture. Lots of activities for kids.
