Spirit Chicken Ranch
Feels like a private getaway
Spirit Chicken Ranch was great! There are like 6-7 different camp sites situated at different levels on the hill, so we picked one of the upper sites and had that whole level to ourselves with a bunch of privacy. The bath house and the sauna are cool, and there's a separate building with another indoor flushable toilet and real shower. So overall, very good amenities. Probably the coolest part of this hipcamp experience were the hiking trails around the property. We hiked down to the creek and swam in the swimming hole next to the waterfall. Warning that the hike is a little steep at times we had to scramble a bit but it was totally worth it, so beautiful. Also the warning about the road is valid, it's dirt and gravel for a long way and you will want an AWD SUV or truck. All in all it was worth it for a wonderful camping experience!

Spirit Chicken Ranch
SCR was exactly as described! We got there in the evening and had no issues. Chase was waiting to meet us and show us around. The road in the def long and bumpy so be prepared for that! The amenities were rustic and a great addition to our camping experience. We loved the sauna! Had a great but kinda steep hike to the waterfall and took a dip, felt magical! We would absolutely recommend staying here :)

The best!
This place was really special. Chase went above and beyond to make our group feel special. We really appreciated the layout and how relaxed everything was. The sauna is one of the best and it really helped me wind down in the evenings. We will be back!

Spirit Chicken Ranch
Spirit chicken ranch was fantastic. the property itself was spacious, with many locations to choose from.
the amenities were also great - very relaxing to do sauna each morning + kitchen was clean and well stocked with basic cooking tools + utensils.
I would also absolutely recommend the hike on the property. waterfall at the end was stunning. 10/10 satisfaction to effort ratio.
only thing that was a bit tough was the drive in was uneven and took ~30-40 minutes, but once you're in, it's beautiful.

The surroundings were fantastic! The hike down to the waterfall on their property was really great. And the bathhouse with the sauna was excellent during a rainy weekend!
